The 2 most realistic Arsenal fans (idk about the whole mourinho thing :lol)

I said it a couple weeks ago this month is season and career defining for Arteta

Hopefully silver lining of this is that we’re spared of LV at RB and Tchouameni at CB against real comp.

Flo's been watching the El-Clasico's hasn't he?

They said the same during the summer and it's still their biggest weakness but I guess trying to get a non-defender like Trent is more important

I think RB is more pressing. I don’t think overpaying to get a mid CB when you have Asencio and are getting Alaba back is the wisest move financially. And against lesser sides you can still rotate Tchouameni there.

Don't think Trent is realistic this window at all though :lol, a CB would be.

The backline hasn't stayed healthy for long recently, Asencio has been good but think more depth should be a priority to avoid having to force square pegs into round holes like with Tchouameini at CB.

That backline will keep causing trouble in the CL and against the bigger clubs.

I think the key factor will be Alaba, IF he can come back and find form our woes will be really diminished, not to mention Militao is also out with injury so looking at 25/26 you’d go in to it with Rudiger, Militao, Alaba, and Asencio at CB which on paper doesnt look bad at all.

A lot of IFs though, so I agree with Flyeed where a reliable back up/competition for Carvajal is more important.
