but I just said don’t buy a new CB? I agree though the structure is off. Last year we had Jude behind a front 2 (one of whom tracked back) and got results. Having him behind a front 3 with overall low work rate doesn’t work against CL level opposition.

That said the right side of the back line has been hugely problematic with Carlo’s selection of LV and Tchouameni. But yes the poor structure in front of them exacerbates the issue.
