Him and Foden were neck and neck coming up. Hope he is able to keep it up and maximize his potential.

Definitely could use his abilities in the squad. It was good to see Mount play a little deeper this week before it all went to **** in the 2nd half. Still would like to see another midfielder brought in before the close of the window.

Yea the shape was better that way but still not convinced of playing both 8's in the midfield tbh, leaves Casemiro out on an island and at this stage of his career he can't be left all alone like that.

Also don't really like Bruno being shoved out wide to have MM playing there. Really hope to bring in another holding mid to hopefully solidify the base of the midfield with Casemiro.

Someone good in possession and a good passer like Amrabat would be a welcome addition.

I’m still hopeful of playing with the two 8s, most teams play that way. The main issues appear to be that our two 8s are 10s and as you mentioned, Casemiro being on the backend of his career. But honestly, as leggy as Casemiro has looked, it would be a lot to ask of anyone.

A good shape and good pressing solves this as seen in the first half. We just wasted all of our opportunities which has been the reoccurring theme since last year. If we still can’t score with Rashford on the left and Hojlund through the middle then idk.

Amrabat would be a good signing for the qualities you mentioned. Idk if EtH would see him as a starter, think it would take a few more bad matches for him to throw the towel in on Mount and Bruno playing together. Good thing is that he has shown the awareness to change things up when it becomes obvious that it isn’t working.
