I don't understand why yall complaining about free throws?
celtics were over the limit early in the 4th and that's what caused most of the free throws for the lakers.

On kobe:
Kobe was the center of the Celtics Defensive strategy tonight. Double teamed, and triple teamed all night, forcing roll players to make plays.... and that's exactly what happened.
Even so, his decision making up till the 4th quarter was very questionable. I'm glad that got resolved and I'm glad the team was able to pull through.
On the FT disparity:
Drives to the bucket will always garner more calls than jump shots, and that's all Boston was doing the entire 4th. On top of that, game 7 was called right down the line with minor deviations for both teams. Boston didn't get away with the illegal defense they've been playing for the entire series... and the numbers show it.
On the Laker Defense:
Wow. i've never seen such a cohesive unit play defense like the Lakers did tonight. Aside from dropping the first quarter by 9, the defense was as solid, consistent, and as suffocating as it's ever been. Rotations were quick, and transition defense was unmatched. It's abosolutely clear that this was a focus for Phil, knowing the type of team boston is and how Rondo thrives off the fast break. The last time I saw that kind of defense was the 04 Pistons when they whooped LA at the Palace. Extremely impressed... I can't give them enough credit.
Final notes:
Boston put up a hell of a fight, but was overcome by LA's Defense. Every shot, minus Rondo and Allen's 4th quarter three and the inside pass to a wide open Garnett, was contested and challenged. Both teams peaked at the right time, but LA came out stronger on defense, despite a wretched shooting performance.
Ronny played the game of his career. 20 is no joke, especially being a 4th or 5th option on a team with Pau and Kobe. I'm glad he's getting his due.
Congrats to LA, and big ups to Boston for putting up a hell of a fight. This outranks any LA vs. _______ series I've ever seen.

First off Congrats to the Lakers & the fans
Celtics had this game, they were just a run away from pulling this game away, but their stale offense by the end of the 3rd and the whole 4th quarter killed them. Also rebounding was what killed them at the end, I hate to see the big 3 get broken up but it seems like they have run their course unless somehow they can add some veterans to that team.
But congrats to you Lakers fan, as much as I hate to say it. Now onto the off season
