nah, this season is only half of book three. Storm of Swords was like 1500 1200-1300 pages.
Yea it was pretty long and backloaded. Depending on how close they follow the rest of book 3 there should be about 3-4 "red wedding" type moments. It's gonna be a long wait for season 4 :{

Weak finale?

1. Arya killed a man for the first time. And it was a Frey.

2. Sam met Bran at the wall.

3. Daeny freed Yunkai.

4. Stanis changed his plans and is marching north.

5. Jon returned to Castle Black.

6. Theon became Reek and his sister is coming to save him.

7. Tywin laying down the law.

8. Robbwind

And remember folks, this is the first half of a book. Still lots to come.

the reason I say it was weak is because it came after last weak. All of that stuff you mentioned couldve pretty much been last weeks episode and this week couldve been the slaughterfest. That wouldve left everybody in shock. ( of course some things wouldve had to be left out, like arya killing, and maybe change the small council discussion around)

I hope the people that got Asha/Yara GreyJoy on the character test are less disappointed now. I always thought she was pretty badass :lol

Weak finale

Can someone tell me where Bran is headed? North I know but what is his goal? To kill the white walker army with his powers and the dragon glass? It was a little unclear why he completely switched up and said to hell with castle black

Same question I had, why is Bran heading up north for.

To find the three eyed raven

What that is going to do for him idk

Last episode showed us the worst of man, while this episode was very positive and set-up a lot of karma that will presumably go down next season.

Arya killing a man was the best moment, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. The story Bran told about the cook was good foreshadowing. And we have Theon's sister ready to seek revenge. Basically looks like a lot of people will get their just desserts in season 4. (this is all speculation as i haven't read the book or any spoilers)

The stuff with Tywin, Tyrion, and Cersei was good too. They've finally found a common understanding. Even though they'll always have issues, I think each now understands the other.

Season 1- Book 1
Season 2- Book 2
Season 3- 1st half of book 3
Season 4- 2nd half of book 3

Some extra stuff gets sprinkled in here and there.

I think we're actually around 2/3 of the way thru book 3. I think there can be quite a bit of material from book 4 and 5 next season (the two books happen concurrently).

:rollin @ "their long lost cousin that built the Iron throne, Tony Stark." in the vid on the last pg.
Who/what is robbwind?

have you seen the latest episode?

if yes:

they sewed grey wind's head onto robb's headless body.
No need for spoilers anymore now

Welp a lily white girl saves a bunch of dark people.

Can't escape white daddy syndrome even in a fictional world.

Solid season finale.

Nothing earth shattering like the Red Wedding episode, but it would've been impossible to top that.

I hope shogun is happy that Robbwind made a cameo
