People that have read the books

Say I wanted to start reading book 3 around where this season just capped off. Do you guys have like a ballpark chapter for me to start from? I'm assuming the show doesnt follow the book down to a T.

They say it doesn't work like that. You can only do that with season 1 and book 1.

He needs to move on and give Missandei a try. If that doesn't work either than just have fun with the former bed slaves.

They should have ended the season the red wedding the last episode was pretty Ho hum

as stated pages ago, that's how seasons 1 and 2 were. the big ending you're expecting comes in the second to last episode. the finale is the aftermath, and sets up the next season

I agree, for once they didn't end a season on a ridiculous crazy cliffhanger. They basically answered the questions of the previous episode (after that episode still lingers heavy in our heads). That's good enough. Can't wait for the new season.

Why doesn't hodor speak like a normal person?

Why is he so loyal? Is there a meaningful story behind his loyalty to the starks?

inb4 book spoilers
Hodor is "simple-minded"(mentally handicapped). Which is why the only word he's capable of saying is "Hodor."

He's the last living relative of Old Nan who has been serving the Starks for decades. That would explain his loyalty I guess.

Safe to say that Jon Snow and Ygritte's relationship comparable to that of Chris Brown and Rihanna?
