I'm sure this has been posted before but will the seasons for AFOC and ADWD be combined since they're not chronologically in order or will they follow the order of the books?

Probably. It would translate better like that on TV and half the characters wouldn't be missing for a season.

With the success the show is having I wonder why HBO doesn't extend the episodes in a season going forward. Is production cost really the reason we get 10 episode seasons? This show can easily have 13-15 episode seasons; there is plenty of material for the writers.

It wouldn't work like that AFFC coincides with the first half of ADWD and ends there, than second half of ADWD is so plentiful that it can be season by itself

Cat over Dany in my eyes. Dany was solid early on this season, but Cat should have been nominated immediately after the Red Wedding.

Tyrion has to get nominated again because Dinklage already won... plus he's consistently one of the best parts of the show. Would have loved to see Jaime get a nomination, though.
