the night king was an extistential threat to bring all the heroes together. It did that? What more was left to do?

Dude, think about every great war in history, humans beings come together to face an existential threat and when the battle is over...they go back to squabbling.

its actually extremely realistic.

the show has to end with the HUMAN drama not with silent dudes in rubber masks.
What “great wars” in history has NOT ever been man vs. man?? Please direct me to references of these existential wars where humans banded together to face an existential threat that wasn’t another set of humans.

You keep s***ting on the fantasy aspect of the show like it hasn’t been an intricate aspect of it since day 1.

There have been dragons, giants, forest creatures & magic all throughout the show’s existence.

Opening scene is about these “silent dudes in rubber masks.”

You keep saying the HUMAN aspect of the show is the real end game but the writers damn sure were pushing a different narrative ever since Jon & Lord Commander Mormont were attacked by that wight.

Two days later and I'm still salty. Haven't been this disappointed since Last Jedi.

This.

That's just code for we ****** up but I can't admit it.
and absolutely this. FOH with that lame excuse. Lighting was pathetic and no amount of tv adjustments could have fixed that sorry excuse for filming. Next they gonna tell me that the horrible quick cuts were due to people not being able to adjust the frame rates on their TVs properly? Pathetic.

Exactly.

He had no reason to expose himself, he had basically an endless army and could've just waited them out but naaaaaah why wait another half hour for some **** you've been planning for a 1,000 years

He had very clearly already won the battle. He didn't know that Arya was still lurking around - as far as he saw it, there were a few humans futilely struggling in the courtyard, he'd just left Jon Snow to die fighting all of the newly raised wights, and he's literally surrounded by a few hundred wights and Walkers as he's escorted directly to Bran. He didn't even step foot on the battlefield until the wights had broken into Winterfell and completely devastated it - and he only touched the ground period because he was thrown off of his dragon (which also made sense because he had to challenge Daenerys and Jon so that they wouldn't destroy all of his troops with fire). So as far as plotlines go, I don't think he needed to wait any longer than he did, but he didn't take into account that there was still a master assassin in hiding.

dawg, the night king, is a metaphor my dude, the show is not about the real world mechanics of undead zombie kings.

Tried told y'all the dream was over and these warm bloods ain't have a chance. NK on Thanos level. When he rose the dead..bro. GOAT. game over. He's the goat. Gotta come down to Dr. ManhatBran to save this game. There is no chance of survival less they build a time machine and stop the forest children from ever stabbing the first guy and making him to begin with.

Everybody catching this L my *****.

The ****?

Arya should be getting her ninja on. She wild shook. What happened to I look forward to seeing this face of death?

.

Just a heads up. I just finished the episode. So I'm on my liking posts world tour. And finally commenting lol. Expect some late random comments and responses

I personally didn't have problems with it being to dark.

I didn't watch it live though.

Could it be compression?

****, i thought it was my television settings, but i guess a lot of folks had issues of it being dark as well

I had a hard time getting hype during the episode bro. Idk. Idk what it was...but something kept me from caring about anything. I didn't watch any spoilers or anything. Episode was kinda meh if I'm being real. There were cool parts no doubt...but ultimately....NK got murked with a switchblade to the tummy. And just like that, whole war is over.

Idk bro....I felt nothing. Overall.

Arya really killed 3 of the biggest antagonists of the series with ease.

- Walder Frey
- Little Finger
- NK

If she gets Cercei too, I'm calling BS. She'd have to go down as one of the greatest assassins in television/movie history.
