Jaime got Ned in the street before Robert even went on the hunt. He did it cuz Cat took Tyrion into custody. Cersei even helped convince Robert to forgive Ned and make him hand again.

well youve either recently read them or have photographic memory or something

either way talkin about the show there was no rush to condemnation or remove her from power after the sept like there was with dany and KL

You know, I could've accepted this season up until 3.5 episodes in. Until Dany kind of forgot about the Iron fleet.

these are all things that had their original basis in or happened only in the books. people were mistaken to try and conflate the books and the tv series completely but things will likely play out according to these prophecies in the actual book canon

bran being the nk was something people pulled out of their butts though. It made no sense.

Jon Snow is the greatest man to ever live in that fictional world...shame he will fade into obscurity

A sick storyline for a Jon Snow spinoff would be he’s just living his life in obscurity. Gettin his wildling yambs and nobody TRULY knows who he is.

Life is all good. Peace in the kingdom. Then something bad happens. Bran gets executed, or his new wildling P gets got, or something happens to ghost. Whatever it is, it forces THE OLD Jon Snow to come out of retirement.

Everyone underestimates him because he’s just some nobody. Who was Ned Stark? Nobody remembers him. Nobody knows about his true lineage. But he comes back with a vengeance and starts giving his enemies that WORK.

Queue up “y’all musta forgot” by Roy Jones. The story would be a cross between Maximus Deccimus Merridius from Gladiator and John Wick. He’ll go from some bummy *** wildling to come back and take his rightful Throne.

As long as Good Boy Ghost is in it, maybe with a Mama Direwolf and some pups, I’m sold.

Someone e-mail HBO...

But his sidekick (a person smarter, stronger, and more virtuous than Snow) just so happens to be the actress who plays Okoye from Black Panther. They roam the realm dispensing Justice like Riggs and Murtaugh from Lethal Weapon. Except Jon would be “too old for this ****.”

Better? Thoughts?

Needs more cowbell

They need info out about the prequels stat. The stench of this season is sure to leave some not even wanting to watch it.

Agree. But I also think it may cause more people to read the last two books (if GRRM ever finishes them) than would have if the show had a more satisfying ending.

A better spinoff would be the rebirth of the dragon

Y'all thought dany was a villian now?

Fire and blood to all those who oppose

Definitely. Especially for hardcore fans of the book. **** even I want to read them now.

lol, I was thinking about this yesterday. They left themselves the possibility of a sequel many years down the road. Drogon flies Dany to Kinvara to get resurrected, and instead of immediately returning back to Westeros, she tries to rebuild the empire of Valyria.

Of course, the chances there is ever any post-GOT book material is super unlikely lol.

Ending solidifies Bran as the biggest finessor of all time does it not?

Now that the show is over, here’s a question I’m struggling with: was The Mountain v. The Viper (and one nice pair of Sand Snake boobies) worth the rest of the lameness that was the Dorne plot line?

I wasn’t even comparing the two.

But in Cersei’s case I can’t think of one major character on the show, sans Jaime, that wouldn’t have overthrown her given the chance. And many that would have expedited that overthrow if not for the threat to the north. Jon, Arya, Sansa, Yohn Royce, Yara, and anyone in Dorne come to mind.

It wasn’t as if all of Westeros called for Dany’s head after she burned the city. It was really just Tyrion, Sansa, Arya, and Jon. And Jon only after it was made clear she would have continued the mass murder and included his sisters in her body count. Even after her massacring 95% of KL Dorne and the Iron Islands would have rode for her.

As has been stated many times, what she did wasn’t that out of the norm by Westerosi standards. Robert had feared the Dothraki massacring citizens in Season 1 and Tyrion feared Stanis doing the same in Season 2. The issue with Dany is she claimed and intended to be different. And many of her followers, especially Tyrion and Jon, only followed her because they thought she was different. So for them to rush to condemn her makes sense.

Another option besides Kinvara in Volantis would be Drogon taking her to Asshai with Quaithe resurrecting Dany to birth more dragons since there are dragon eggs in Asshai, after hatching those dragon eggs and years later as they grow up, Dany comes back with Drogon now the size of Balerion the black dread leading the new dragons

Ultimately, no.

I never read the books but Dorne was an entirely different culture than the rest of the 7 kingdoms and had it been done properly, their incorporation into the show would have been a nice touch.

Oberyn definitely was the man, though. :pimp:

Damn, you've got me geeking out.:nthat: That would be ******* dope.

I think Emilia Clarke is one of the few main actors from the show who would be down to do a sequel in the future.
