Had no idea it was a crow in the books but I'm gonna guess it's because ravens are generally physically beastlier and would appear so on TV?Does anyone know why they switched it from a Crow to a Raven in the TV adaption?

I only know the difference because I'm an animal nerd and the raven and crow population has exploded in Oakland in the last 5 years or so. We used to have a lot of red tailed hawks especially in the hills but the crows and ravens are literally fighting them off on some turf wars type stuff.
