Again I don't see how the handsome young man isn't Robin. He's confirmed in Little Finger's possession and has real value to Little Finger and the Tyrrell's.

He's heir to the Vale it's technically his when he turns 18. Little Finger became his stepfather when he married Lysa Arryn and is right now defacto Lord of the Vale.
Robin is also severely developmentally delayed. He's gonna be sitting on the side eating Crayons for life while Little Finger continues to make power moves. Quite the handsome young alpha male indeed.

This is my point. He has more claim than the Lannisters, which is why he'd make sense as the gift to Olenna.
I don't think anyone is taking Stannis seriously at this point. They don't expect him to make it through the winter...but yes he does have more of a claim than Gendry.
Why else would orders be made to kill of of Robert's bastards unless there is a legitimate threat there?
