Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Damn. I loved Vegas as a kid

Mom just left me for hours at Circus Circus and I was cool with that. This was from grade 4-7 or so.

Circus circus trash compared to Disney land, Knotts and Magic Mountain.

I remember going and being really disappointed

I do know families from SoCal go to Vegas because it's relatively cheap and they don't have to deal with the hassle of airports. And, they're probably over disneyland and places like that. But that's about it, in terms of appeal.

Yes. We keep it close to the pacific. Flying with a 4,3 and a 2 yr old is not the business. Plus Vegas way cheaper than so cal. But kids love all that too. I do remember my 11 yr old son asking about the driving escort billboards .

When I was a kid, my parents would take me and my siblings to Vegas cause they had a gambling problem and get rooms/buffets comped

First time I went to Vegas was when I was like 11. My older female cousin came too who was like 15 at the time. This was like '95. We honestly had a ball doin kid stuff. My parents gave us money everyday we was there and we was in circus circus runnin around. Was goin up to the penthouses and seein if we would bump into famous people lol...of course nothin like going when your grown but it was coo...I don't think I'd take my kids now tho.

next time i'm in vegas, i'm submitting applications at any of the hotels on the strip. If i get hired, I'm moving out ASAP lol

^^^ lmao. it's so crazy out there. was there last weekend and didn't really do much except go to the future show, go to rehab, tour the strip and hit the strip club and we already planning another trip soon. This time with an itinerary.

You'd get sick of it REAL quick.
The folks I know that live there hate it after a while especially on holiday weekends because of the crowd.

My old job asked if I wanted to relocate to Vegas with a pay raise. I thought about it for a minute. Can't even lie

If the money is right and you have a legit job offer/promotion, then that's different. Dude was talking about just applying at a hotel and calling it a life lol.

My friends from there be driving to LA on weekends. They probably cross path with Ecook along the way

I was told outside the strip there ain't nothing else to do.

I get sick of Vegas after 1-2 days. Would NEVER live there unless I was getting paid a ridiculous amount of money that allowed me to travel out of there whenever I wanted to.

Yeah just got back from Vegas last week and I'd never be able to move there.

I Imagine it'd be like living at adult Disneyland waking up to the same roller coasters and food stands every damn day. (Tangent: I went to Uni in SoCal...why the f*^*^ do so many people buy annual passes for Disneyland? Like they'll just roll out in a slow Wednesday... I just don't get it)
