On Wednesday, the Warriors will make their way to TD Banknorth Garden looking to push their winning streak to four games. But in order to do so, they must defeat one of the hottest teams in the NBA - the new and improved Boston Celtics.

Golden State earned its third-straight victory on Tuesday night in New York, defeating the host Knicks 108-82 thanks to impressive performances by Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson. The two captains finished with 31 and 23 points, respectively, with each also contributing six assists and seven rebounds.

Wednesday's contest will be a true test for a Warriors team that seems to be coming together as a unit. The high-powered Celtics are off to their best start in 35 years, owning the league's best record (8-1), and having just lost their first game on Sunday in Orlando. Boston is led by the much-publicized trio of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, all of whom will be a challenge for the Golden State defense.

In order for the Warriors keep their winning streak alive, Davis, Jackson and company will need to continue to play four strong quarters of basketball. Over the past three games, the team has been outscored in only two quarters. This kind of consistent performance is exactly what the Warriors will need when they face Boston on the second night of a back-to-back.

Following Wednesday's contest, the Warriors will celebrate Thanksgiving together on the road. Following their feast, the team will continue its roadtrip when they face the Washington Wizards on Friday. Golden State will then wrap up its five-game road trip at Philadelphia on Saturday, before returning home to host the Suns on Monday, November 26.
EXTRA NOTES:
