Can't wait to get home and give it a try tonight. I've been doing survivals like crazy the past month just getting myself back up to $5M and trying to reach level 200. I'm 2 away. But this should be a nice change.

I hope that there won't be any story DLC. We, that is most of people who bought GTAV, don't deserve it.

When the game was initially released, I was legitimately pissed off reading all the comments from all the people bragging about completing it within a week. They spent all this time and effort creating this game and as soon as people bought it they went completing it from mission to mission as if they were trying to set a time record. Pretty much the equivalent of shoveling caviar in your mouth with a soup spoon or chugging down the finest champagne from a giant beer mug. And then they had the nerve to complain that the game was too short even though it's an open world game and there were a ton of different things to do other than playing it like a linear game and going from mission to mission like a madman.

And if there ever was a story DLC, it would obviously be much shorter than the main story. Most people would complete it within no time and then complain that it was too short.

I think that the story being short is a legitimate complaint, especially when a game like Red Dead Redemption had a longer (and arguably more interesting) story in an open world environment. I agree with you about people speed running through the story, but this is the same game that has "collect 3 masks" and "collect 3 boiler suits" both count as full missions in the story mode. I enjoyed the story at the beginning of the game, but it really tapered off at the end into a very lackluster finale, instead of tying up story lines. DLC, even paid, would fit this story perfect IMO and we as the buyers absolutely deserve it. If IV could get 2 fantastic DLC add ons, then V should be getting even better additions to the story

It's not too short. I loved Red Dead Redemption, but it felt shorter than V to me because there wasn't quite as much stuff to do if you don't count the missions.

V felt like the longest GTA game to me and I've completed all of them 100%, with the exception of III which I was at around 97% I believe. What was different about this GTA game and the GTA games of the past + Red Dead is that they gave you the entire map to play around in right from the start. The biggest map of any GTA/RDR and on top of that the entire map was available right from the start!! And some people STILL just paused the game as soon as it started, put their GPS mark on whichever mission was available on the map, drove to that mission and completed it, paused the game again, put their GPS mark on whichever mission was available next and repeated this process over and over again until there were no missions left. And then when the end credits played they were writing a message on a forum *****ing about how short the game was.

So it's not a legit complaint IMO. And there were only 3 or 4 of those types of missions you mentioned. In general, the missions themselves were longer than in previous GTA games and there was more of them.

If BofGT and LaD never released for GTA IV, we wouldn't really be "complaining". If you've only drank Banker's Club and never sipped Grey Goose, u wouldn't know there was a better option. Since those DLC's released, everyone was expecting the same since this map and game is more vast and open than on IV. Franklin's situation w/ his aunt, JB, and his ex are left open-ended. Does TPI ever really get off the ground? some things people want answers to.

GTA V is bigger and more varied than GTA IV and the expansions combined.

I'd rather they move on to working on GTA VI + improving GTAO than working on DLC for V. Time spent on GTA V is just less time being spent on GTA VI (or whatever their next game is).

Franklin's situation w/ his aunt, JB, and his ex are left open-ended. Does TPI ever really get off the ground? some things people want answers to.

Who are these people? They are out of their mind. It doesn't matter.

Shut up b  I was rootin for Franklin gettin his girl back  And I was wondering if Trevor ever built TPI to be the powerhouse he wanted.

GTA VI won't come out for another 5 or 6 years, they got plenty of time

FDB, she made her choice.

I murked trevor in mine like a real *****, so i know what happened to tpi.

game was waaaay too short for all of the possibility it could've offered. map aint eem really seem that big tbh. And I actually liked how the past games gave you just bits of the map as the story progressed. That was dope. It offered room for surprises and things to look forward too.

I absolutely loved GTAV. I didn't have any actual complaints. And it is because I loved it that I wished it was longer so I could play it more. Some of the missions were dope, but the game did seem waaaay too easy. Like there was no mission I had to try over and over again and then feel triumphant when I passed it. I actually had to check and see if the difficulty was set to rookie mode or something.

True dat, the homie was in love though b

They also removed the fact of having multiple safe houses and it's the truth about the map, I feel the map on San Andreas was a lot bigger than this one, had me hype once I got to Las Venturas, dealing w/ Area 51, etc. I just feel like they should've remade San Andreas in new gen and added to it

Here's my thoughts on GTA V.

-GTA V was a great game.Yes I felt the story could have been deeper and had more to it.But people got to remember the factors that played in and affected it. Mainly R* introducing and messing around with the 3 Character aspect in a game story and seamless transition part put into a open world game like GTA. No other game producer/company had done this before and certainly not to the level and as good as R* did it.The absoultely killed it and nailed it with how they pulled it off.In fact we are already seeing it where other game devs are going to to try and bite off their style with future open world games: See what they are doing with Mafia III. You got to remember that R* especially when it come to the GTA series always does something big & innovative in their games. They are the ones who set the bar & trends that other game companies follow.

If you read this article:

It explains why they haven't and probably won't put out story DLC for GTA V.

My complaints about this game come from my true love of the series. It's a 9/10 game that I really wanted to see be a 10/10 certified classic. The social commentary and sense of humor this game has will keep it interesting to me for years to come, and the graphics and gameplay are great to me. What is lacking to me is the story. It starts off great up until Michael and Trevor are reunited, then it really diverges into something stupid. The FIB angle got tired really fast. I think of DLC comes out, they need to focus on Trevor and Franklin

lames with modded systems.

can someone tell me how bombs are set off in your safe houses? i spawned in one of my cribs and was met with 5 consecutive exploding bombs in my face.
Seriously? It's reasons like this that the online side of the game never appealed to me, nothing but savagery commencing. It's disappointing that there might not be any DLC for the single player campaign. While I continue to find replay value in the single story mode, there's still much to be desired.

Yeah, I'd like them to release a DLC for the story mode as well.

I have to spend some time playing online...I didin't really enjoy it the first time around. Maybe with this free events, I'd enjoy it more?

sitting on a few Ms just patiently waiting for this Casino to open hopefully one day

The fact that they didn't open the casino or allow the stock market online is rubbish. I'm tryna buy low and sell high online. Is it wrong for a young lad such as myself to live vicariously through GTA Online?

i want mansions
this.

Plus nightclubs.  I know at least one of the nightclubs has a completely finished interior, lights, music etc because I glitched into it before

more interiors are needed overall

Surfing, hiking, boating mini games would be nice

I guess I have to give up on the idea of story dlc now

i hope all the effort and energy they're putting int V doesn't mean VI is 10yrs out
