Why does it make me race in the beginning, it just hangs on "launching session" or "waiting for players"

me too, i've had it saying "waiting for players" for about an hour, i just said **** it and started single player up. Gonna try again in the night

The mission where u gotta team up and get the drugs back to big homie but on some team last man standing joint it just kept searching so ima go play this battlefield beta for tonight i might get back on durning the weekend and hope all is well

You can create 4 players.

What worked for me getting past the first race...... I had to dashboard at least 7 times and I guess I got lucky.

I don't really think there's a work around.
