Honestly I'm just thrilled we'll have the chance to pick Fantilli. No disrespect to Bobby Ryan but this time around it's A LOT easier to stomach. One of the stat guys at The Athletic, Dom Luszczyszyn, projects Fantilli as the 4th best prospect since 2006 behind only McDavid, Bedard, and Kane. Adding a #1 franchise center to one of top young cores in hockey has the Ducks set up to be championship contenders in a couple years. Up front they've got Zegras/Fantilli/Mctavish/Terry to build around and then on the backend they have a ton of potential top 4 D including the top dman from all 3 CHL leagues this year in Mintyukov/Luneau/Zellweger.

Stupid United flight didn’t have Live TV like American and Southwest do (and I’m sure Delta as well), so didn’t get to see any of the game, but sounds like the Kraken played better overall than us tonight?

Time to go close this out in 6 at a decent hour for once on Saturday. (I did enjoy the late Western Conference games starting at 6:45 or 7 while I was out on the West Coast this week though)
