He's looked good so far, he actually came into camp in shape this year, but I can't tell you how excited i am for Trouba. He was unreal tonight, got a goal and was named the 1st star in his 1st NHL game

Jets are now officially my 2nd favorite team. I've been a Trouba fanboy since the first time I saw him play during the WJC two years ago. The sky is literally the limit for that kid. 1st NHL game, team best 25:01 ice time, 1G 1A. I can't recall ever seeing a better performance by a D-man in their NHL debut. Hope Lindholm can have half as good a game in his debut tonight.

Defense is going to be an issue all year with the Caps. Outside of Carlson/Alzner/Green, it's a SERIOUS problem.

*I'm loving the extra space behind the net. Just makes me wonder how a guy like Gretzky would have fared in today's league :x
