Bruins home opener is tomorrow and I am so excited!

Excited to see the Eriksson/Bergeron/Marchand line jell and form some chemistry. Can't wait to see them shut down the opposing top line against the Lightning, break out out of their zone and score a goal.

How will Krejci fare now that he is an alternate captain? He can disappear at times.

Who is going to be the odd man out tomorrow on defense? I have a feeling that it's going to be Bart.

Will our power play finally get something going now that Z is our net-front presence?

Very happy to see Marty St. Louis with the "C". I have so much respect for him.

Stamkos is probably going to light it up tomorrow as well.

Glad to hear Jack Edwards again.

we're getting to a point, similar to the NFL, where we need to accept the fact these guys KNOW what they're signing up for. they're aware of the inherent risks of playing the game. you can soften it up a bit, but to completely change the game is ridiculous.

As a matter of fact, one of the most memorable playoff fights happened in the finals back in '04 when two captains squared off...Vinny Lecavalier and Jerome Iginla.

No, fighting in the playoffs doesn't happen as much as the regular season, but don't sit there and say that it doesn't happen when the stakes are higher.

Dreger also gets some fighting ban talk from GM Jim Rutherford and Ray Shero in his post. Shero says a ban ‘should be considered’, but he’s also the guy who brought in Steve McIntyre to protect Sid.
