No joke...if the Caps somehow make the playoffs, there's an EXCELLENT chance that Ovechkin will have his 4th Hart Trophy.

Barring injury I don't see Sid losing the Hart. Makes so many people so much better

^^Sid doesn't play with Neal. Malkin-Neal has been a duo since they got him.
Personally, if Ovie gets 65+ and gets the Caps in the playoffs I give it to him. If not, Sid. Finalists will be Sid, Ovie, Getzlaf.

If Ovechkin gets 60+, the Hart is his...
I mean, right now, he's got 38 of his team's 155 goals. 24%.
He's pretty much carried this team....I don't think you all realize how bad the team is outside of him and Backstrom.

Yep, no Neal. Sid plays with Kunitz and (when not injured) Pascal Dupuis. The RW is essentially non existent. This year he has to roll with Brian Gibbons, Joe Vitale, Chuck Kobasew, Chris Connor..? Ew. Definitely between the two of them but I don't think Sid loses it this year. Who knows, I just want a deep playoff run

The caps arnt as bad as their record and ovie isnt winning the Hart. Sid n Tavares will finish ahead of him. Also id bet my left nut he doesnt score 65 goals. (And intially i thought he had a shot at 50 n 50)
Ovechkin. Backstrom. Green. Johansson. Grabovski. Carlson. Holtby. Brouwer. Ward
All those guys would contribute elsewhere

Theres no question crosby n johnny t are infintely more valuable. Even if ov hits 70. The fact that they might not even make the playoffs is the clincher. So if he scores 60 n has 95 pts. And johhny t scores 35-40 and 110 pts n they also miss the playoffs ovie is better cuz hes a goal scorer and not a playmaker?
Nah for me crosby n tavares are milessss ahead as it pertains to most valuable. 60 goals is cool and all but its about alot more than that

Look at the Caps regulation wins and tell me that they aren't a bad team. If it wasn't for the ******g shootout or loser point, they'd be trash.
They have no depth...they have guys playing top-6 who shouldn't be there. They have one of the worst defenses in the league. Holtby has been the model of inconsistent this season...and it goes on and on.

Grubauer played well n holtby has a winning record at the end of the day. Bottom line every nhl team has holes cept maybe Chicago. Ovi scores goals. The other two make every player on the ice with them better. Its no contest imo
Cpl years ago i saw sid beat up matt niskanen... we got him as a throw n in the goli deal. Because of sid hes averaged a ppg the last two months haha... he got letang paid. Kunitz paid. And can litterally have a pylon for a rw and lead the league n scoring.

Grubauer had a hot start...that's it. Holtby had a GAA over 3.00 up until the MTL game.

No ones calling them good but to say they have less talent then just about any other team save a hanful is erroneous. They jus dont know how to win. And ur right def. could use some depth specifically on D.

If anything, they'll probably remain the same. Sans the shoulder patches that say PHX, there's nothing to change. However, this is a money grab opportunity, so it could happen. They've used the current unis for 10+ seasons now.new jerseys????

If Islanders make the playoffs and not have a huge losing streak again - I'd love to see Tavares win it. Isles are horrible with defense and in goal. This team wishes they had a D player like Streit back
