If you watched the games, you can see that he goes through stretches where he'll have a bunch of turnovers in a row. And those turnovers are, most of the time, coming when he puts himself in a bad position by attacking and getting trapped or just plain dribbling into the defense and losing the ball. Those kinds of turnovers will decrease as his feel for the game gets better.
I'm not worried. As long as we keep winning he could average 20 TO per game and I'd be fine.

I would relax, and not worry about his TO's. By the bulk of his TO's occurring in the 2nd half should tell you he's not in shape to play 40+ minutes yet.

I love this story man. He's inspired me
Funny, I find his story much more inspring than Tebow & thats coming from a Broncos fan. It's just amazing how good this kid is and how good he can be. He's a perfecf match for D'Antoni system but i believe he has the skill set tk do this with any offensive system. I'm a Sixers fan so I'm sorta hoping the Knicks stop winning so much so we can take that Atlantic division but I rooting for Lin to keep this up.

I believe it was DURING the 3rd, but the Knicks were up by 20-30 (and I still got on him for that brief mental lapse) and were up[ because of him, so I can't get on him too much.
Trust me, I haven't made any excuses for him and actually said I needed to see more, but there is no denying he is playing well during this streak.
I want to see how he responds when that jumpshot stops falling and things are not going so well, hopefully in a positive way.
that is a whole different thing ... the kid is take big steps each game ... we'll see what happens with the turnovers ... 14 pts and 6 assists would be money for this team ... anything else is gravy ...
you already see the effect when he's on the bench ... the knicks offense comes to a screeching halt ... the kid is the goods ... but let's also recognize the flaws in his game ... whether it's 7 games or 40 ...

But the lakers are like a top 5 defensive team in the league this year. They hold teams to 90.4 PPG (4th in the league) and their opponents FG% is .417 (1st in the league). You're telling us team defenses are based on individual player defenses? I'm sure Kobe didn't guard the best player on every team so far this year to have his team play defense so well. Some of you guys are making stupid arguments.
And for the people who say, "he's doing it against soft competition", who's fault is that? Dude finally got burn at the moment and started to ball. Ya'll act like he never played an NBA game before that Nets game. It's the NBA and these guys are professionals at the end of the day. They can ball.
He's been consistant with his ball distribution and that's what's most important. EVERYONE ELSE ON THE TEAM IS MORE INVOLVED. That's not just a fluke.

Some of the reasons people are finding to hate on the kid are ridiculous....if it's not the "soft" schedule, it's something else. Next thing people will say is "well, let's see how he does in a non-shortened season...." C'mon now...there are plenty of things he needs to work on (cutting down on TOs....but he's essentially a "rookie" and will get better. For comparison, John Wall is averaging 4.1 on the year), but to deny the Knicks don't look like a competent squad with him at the 1 is flat out insane. They're playing GREAT basketball and have given their fans something to be excited about. Why discredit the man for making the most of the opportunity presented? Until the wheels fall off on this wagon, just enjoy the basketball that they are playing.
