Official Jeremy Lin Thread.

Took a peak in this thread. No way am I going through all these pages, but when I read some comments, I cannot help but think that some of these guys must have crawled out from under a rock to post.

I don't care about him or the Knicks.

But I've been in the Knick threads a few times and I can see how desperate dudes were waiting for B-Diddy.

Nah that's not the case at all. We need Baron back ASAP. Bibby backing Lin up is gonna hurt us sooner than later. We just not talking about him cuz there's no timetable on his return and we haven't heard anything about his progress since he was suppose to come back like a week ago.

I'd probably feel the same exact way if he was on my favorite team.

I wasn't even trying to hate on the kid. I was just trying to be realistic, but apparently you can't say anything about Jeremy Lin without pissing all these sensitive folk off.

He doesn't have the best of games and he still put up decent stats, I think it's a good sign for him. He will definitely drop off, but as long as he can remain fairly consistent, distribute the ball around and cut down the TOs, he'll be fine.

If Lin was JUST going on a scoring tear, I would be more skeptical. But this dude might be a replacement for Jerry Sloan's viagra with the way he runs the pick and roll and sees the court. So of course his scoring numbers will drop. It's his assist numbers I'm watching. His ball handling and court vision are what I respect the most thus far.

everyone is watching his scoring/assists but a lot of people are sleeping on the fact that the knicks have 4 STRAIGHT W's. at the end of the day i think the most important stat that anyone should talk about is how jeremy lin is making this team win

What are you talking about? Check the Knicks TEAM thread. This is the Jeremy Lin thread so of course his individual effort is the focus in here. The "Linning" is where all of the hype is coming from. Anyway, my point was more about he he will get Melo and Amare the ball in better spots so both players will be more offensively efficient. Of course that will lead to wins. Lin's scoring will drop but his assists should go up or at least stay around 8.

All I wanna say is no matter what, he is playing his butt off anf playing well. And he seems to enjoy the game and has fun playing.
