Let's not generalize. I'm sure a lot of sneakerheads (including myself) don't care.

didnt mean to generalize sir, but i used that term because i associate it with folks that are so passionate about details that average folks dont care about or wont notice.Let's not generalize. I'm sure a lot of sneakerheads (including myself) don't care.
It makes perfect sense. The whole reason they started replacing NIKE signs with jumpmans was to help establish Jordan as it's own brand and popularize it, which they've obviously done a great job with. You must not have been around very long, because the 2 HAS had a jumpman as well as JORDAN in the back several times. Why would they replace the tongue logo when it's a WINGS logo? They have no reason to. The only time I can think of that they replaced the wings logo from a Jordan 1 was the recent rare air bs with the removable patches. they just wrote air Jordan instead of using the full logo. That was my point... Why is Nike/JB adding a Jumpman to the tongue of the 1s but not the 2s. Literally makes 0 sense.
You're absolutely right. Nike doesn't care, because they already know consumer behavior as it pertains to the Air Jordan signature line. It's no longer a "game" shoe; the Air Jordan numbered series aka AJ game shoe has solely become a lifestyle product. A decade ago, the focus seemed to be on reproducing the most famous colorways in "retro" fashion, with slight tweaks from the originals. Just when we thought JB was running out of ideas, all of a sudden we see special packaging (i.e., holiday AJ11 releases), special packs (i.e., Old Love/New Love, DMP, BMP, Countdown Pack, etc). Why would nike care if they still sell out? They are in business of making money.....all they have to do is look at a couple threads on nt and they would see that jordan fans are knowledgeable but gullible at the same time.

When did the 2s have a Jumpman on the heel?
I know the Nu'Retro II's had a Jumpman on the lace covering portion. That's all I can think of off hand.
back in the day I saw these at the outlet & my ex was like "look, Jordans!"
again, ex.
Let's take the OG vs Jumpman 1s talk to a 1's thread, and keep the discussion here focused on the 1.5s.
If ya don't like the 1.5s, and don't wanna try a sole swap, say so and skedaddle. Please don't hijack the thread with what you DO like instead.

I agree. I liked nu retro 2s. If they came back out though they would be trash because they would look all thin and cheap.Nu Retro 2s were dope.
That's a great price!picked up the soar blue for $109.99 shipped from ebay. if anyone want the link let me know. they still have 8.5, 9.5, 10, and 12 left.
