repped.
I don't own a pair of the 2014 White/Varsity Red 2s, but I do own the 2010 Chicago 2s (black midsole). The 2010 Chicago 2s did not respond well on the court, as I only played in them twice. Of course, that was 5+ years ago when I was a bit younger and I did a lot more penetrating, cutting, and actually played some defense.
I'm a lot older now (40) and take a lot more relaxed approach on the court - think spot up three-point shooting. Nevertheless, the 1.5s still held up really well if you're simply running up and down the court, playing little to no defense whatsoever, and pretending you can still jump vertically lol. After 1.5 hours of on-court use, my feet weren't hurting so that's a definite plus. The cushioning was great, and felt even better since I always double my socks. But the base of the outsole is narrow, so I'd say stability is somewhat hindered when it comes to cutting laterally.
One of my favorite shoes to ball in today remains the Lebron 7s and 8s, the Zoom Kobe Vs and Nike Hyperdunk, Reebok Question 1 blue toe, and Adidas AdiZero Rose 2.5 Playoffs.
guess i need to try these out myself when i get them because of the shoe you listed, i hated most of them on the court. lol
the lebron 7 gave me blisters every time i played in them and need to choke the laces out and still no heel lockdown. the lebron 8 cushion was nice, but traction wasn't great end up using them casual and sold them. the original hyperdunk's lunar didn't last and i gave them away after 2 months of use. didn't own the Q or Roses.
