I've been "collecting" since early 2000s. I was spoiled by OG's and earlier retro's and that's why I don't and can't cop any recent Jordans. That's just me, What others do, that's them but I ATLEAST understand history of and about these kicks. You must be one of those extremely critical shoe collectors. I'm not talking down on it though. Could you, perhaps, list/explain the reasons that would make cop or pass on any sneaker? I never understood it personally, so I thought I'd ask.
In order for me to buy a shoe, it have to make me irressistable to them, make me get goosebumps like some French 12s (mmmm) but just this specific model, Oreos, didn't have the wow factor to me. Nothing more, nothing less. The Columbia's IVs tho, those are nice when I checked my friend's pair.
@JoeJues, yes, I actually believed they were gonna make me fly and be like Mike.. Or that the green I worked for, would atleast be of value for the money spent. Maybe you got money to splurge and the way how you use YOUR money is YOUR thing. I loved Jordans, but this purchase was a spur of the moment. And if I wanted high quality, sure, get GUCCI but GUCCI ain't Jordans. Or atleast they give quality bang for your buck.
