I did not really like TPAB, and I am very happy to say I really enjoy this album. The beats and flows on this album are a lot more accessible to me, whereas a lot of the songs on TPAB were a little too out there to me.

My favorite songs on here are:

DNA
ELEMENT

FEEL

LUST

FEAR

DUCKWORTH (the instrumental alone is crazy)

Only gripes I have with this album are the songs Yah and Humble, I don't like either of those songs. Yah in particular is awful

Kendrick came correct with this one, and is just adding to his legacy at this point. I have been listening to this in my car a lot and it really brings me back to a GKMC type of vibe

Hate YAH.

Only joint that I cant tolerate on there

Wish the underlaying bass knocked harder LUST. man :(

Man, I love YAH.

First song I played strolling out the house in the morning on these past two beautiful Spring days. So damn smooth.

Radars is buuuzzzzinnnnnnnnnnn'.:hat

Yah & Love are my least favorite tracks but theyre still good to me. Was listening to FEEL earlier & man he was saying some real ish on that. That flow at the end of the song tho :x :hat

I see that James Blake is listed as a writer on that song, is that beat sampled from one of his songs then? Kinda sounds like it

Anyway, this is probably Kendrick's darkest or most bleak album so far.

In my opinion of what DAMN. is about, it's about the cycle of life told in a fashion by Kendrick where there is little to no hope, lots of fear and anger, and alienation.
How Kendrick ties it all together is with Duckworth, where his dad and Top Dawg decides to break that vicious cycle and choose the other path of peace and hope, which that good karma turns into future riches and rewards.

Humble is a legit hit man.....

Was out all day yesterday. Everybody was bumping humble or mask off. DJ's ran back humble too.

Humble got that "bounce"......it's perfect for the Baltimore two step. Was hittin that joint in the circle with the crew last night. Flexed up. Bout 10 Baltimore ****** hitting this dance to Kendrick
