Being a fan of other TDE artists myself, I see it come up in the comments every single time one of them announces a new album. They always bring Kendrick up for no reason.

It definitely won’t be his last album, just the last of TDE albums while he “continues to pursue his life calling” aka hip hop. It’s like you said, he’s just too big to roll with TDE at this point.
