Fair point. I won't lie, playing on clean hardwood is obviously sweet, but a lot of the time locations can change to recreation centers where the floors are synthetic and not well maintained.
Your tire analogy is spot on, but then maybe then the shoes should be advertised as "Summer Performance Tires" and not "All seasons." Maybe a solution is that along with the insole, the actual tread could be swapped out?
Either way, the XI's look good with the slim jogging pants that all the "cool kids" are wearing these days lol. However, I'm not gonna risk wearing them again and just go for something that overall has positive traction reviews.
