- Lakers fans, you should stop being so fickle. You should know by now to completely trust Kobe even if he's missed every shot he's taken - same with Gasol. They're proven players and if they fall in the end, chalk it up to a bad day or good defense.
- There were a lot of bad calls. I'm not talking about the type of bad calls that fans of a team always see, i.e. the Sacramento Kings Fans syndrome. There were a lot of clear-cut bad calls - some against LA, a few against Boston. I hate when refs can't admit their mistakes. Salvatore called an out-of-bounds turnover and had this "nope, I'm not listening" face. Thankfully it didn't cost LA the game.
- I disagreed with taking Gasol out in crunch time. He's just too skilled a player to take out. But it's a tough decision - you need to keep Bynum in because he's dominated the whole afternoon, you need Artest for his defense and his ability to stretch the floor, and you have Odom, who runs the offense and creates tough situations just by handling the ball. There's no science to it unfortunately. I just hope that Phil knows what card to play by now.

I'm just gonna say this: if the Lakers lost Kobe for a few weeks, struggled and then struggled a little more when he came back for a few games, I wouldn't be writing them off...not to mention Kobe has more games under his belt than KG does.
And calling a team done in January is smart.

This game was reminiscent of last years game at Boston.
Game was very close heading into the 4th. Celtics lead entering the 4th. Lakers grind it out and took a lead with kobes big 3, but game went into OT.
Pau and Odom were big in that OT, but this year they went ghost.
