Wade and Bosh wanted to have their moment before James makes his own announcement -- the nature of which remains unknown -- in a live, one-hour special Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on the network that shares the NBA broadcast rights.
If true this is the most disturbing part of this free agency class this year. All these clowns are trying to capture all the spotlight and media they can, but if they were real athletes and competitors in the first place they would know that they would have HAD their moment had they won the NBA championship this year like Kobe and the Lakers did......(I'm not even a Kobe fan). You want all the attention and spotlight, how bout you do a parade back in your NBA city while holding up the NBA trophy, that should be all the attention you need and deserve. I and others can say what they want to about Kobe (Robin
) all we want to but at the end of the day especially now that guy cares about winning, not endorsements, not TV time, not being on the cover of GQ magazine, not being up on stage at rap concerts, and not about being on the latest episode of Divorce Court to fight over the custody of your 2 kids, but winning and winning it all.
I know things progress with time and age but some of the NBA legends and veterans have to shaking their head at all this recent bufoonery going on the league these days. Dudes having 1 hour TV specials to announce what team their signing to, +%!% out here. Somebody like Jordan or Magic should call Lebron up and say %#%%@ just pick a team and get it over with. The last time I can recall an athlete taking up up hour or so on TV was when Magic announced that he had HIV, now that was truly a reason to hold a press conference over something not team related.
