Wow, the Lil B thread really died down huh?

I was never "based" I can say that cuz I was that dude hatin on Lil B around the time he got "knocked out" so I can never claim that I'ma reserve that for the die hards.

I actually became infatuated, songs like I'm god, myspace, rich *%*#!, pretty *%*#!, pretty boy and the remix, wonton soup, whole blue flame mixtape, up next, and various other classic secrete and legendary swag on I was a avid listner cooking and all!!

I gotta say tho. I think ol' basedgod is slacking a little bit. he has become bland, I have heard way better from him, even his cooking songs dont really have "swag" right or wrong??  (I got BasedGod Velli. Thugs Jurnal and the title song are the best tracks imo)

I respect his work ethic and grind honestly, his true left field approach, the wacky mixtape names the overload of videos and uber consistant material I wish my favorite rapper worked just as hard and cared about and dedicated to his fans just as much as Lil B. All in all tho I wish him the most success cuz honestly he worked for it. The Pack got him some cheddar to get some recording equipment and the rest is all B. guarenteed. He aint get no kinda hand out. He earned every fan.

It's kinda obvious Rocky bit Lil B hard in certain aspects, clams casino production, pretty mother f'er on every song, swag in every song, he even says "Lil B, Brankadank" in the song "brand new guy" (ScHoolboy Q murders that track).  

I like ASAP Rocky tho, he's different but he bites Tyler the Creator too, with the demon voice on all the hooks so he's kinda takin obvious que's from the left coast, he can rap a heck of alot better than Lil B and Tyler but it is what it is.

At first it would seen like he just got that from Houston but when you compare the way both rappers go do whole verses in that tone and switch in and out it's obvious he took that from Tyler

I think most of the true based heads out there share the same sentiments. Everything ain't like it used to be but whatever...I still support the dude.
