LMAO - that wasn't even close to being a kick. Oh well though ...
lmao I guess everybody from ESPN and ex players like Jalen Rose/Billups and others are clueless too cause they also said they need to fill that 3 position with a Rudy Gay type of player also mentioned Wilson Chandler/Crowder aswell... But ok I'm clueless...y'all have a Center/Small Forward that can't score and a 2 guard in Redick that can't create his own shot and a miniature PG y'all have to rely on to make all y'all plays besides Blake's lmao I'm clueless
Missed the game but happy to see the final score. We byke!!! #2 seed here we come
Yeah, baby. Undefeated in 2017!
Undefeated!!
We might never lose again.
Oh I'm not saying u guys can't compete without a 3...but if u guys had a Crowder or Gay, u guys could win the west and I believe with Blake and y'all team constructed now can play with Cleveland... But without a Small Forward.. You guys aren't winning anythingk3llz
I'm late to this but let me make this final comment to this comment
The Clips as constructed have been a perennial 50+ win team for like 5, 6 years straight. On avg, under Doc they've been a 55+ win team. Blake missed 40+ games last year and they still won 53 games with one of the best offenses and defenses in the entire league.
I don't think anyone is saying that the Clips don't have any voids or that the issues you brought up with their roster construction don't have merit, they certainly do. But...
1) you nor anyone on espn acknowledges any real avenue for acquiring these small forwards like crowder or chandler
And
2) The clips as currently constructed are really good...like blowing out the cavs at home good. Like blowing out the Spurs and grizzlies on their home floor good. Right now in the west they have a fantastic chance at beating anyone not named the Spurs in a 7 game series. Now, with that being acknowledged, how much better are those guys going to make lac?
The bottom line for me I guess, is that lac right now can beat anyone not named gsw in a 7 game series. Those guys aren't good enough to trade assets for, especially when really they wouldn't make us much better than we are now.

I actually don't get people saying Crowder would be a difference maker for us. To truly improve at the SF spot we'd need someone who can manufacture his own offense. Crowder's not that guy. He's a 3 and D dude. Would be a slight upgrade over Luc, at best.
The 3s that would really help are guys like Gordon Hayward and Paul George. And we have no means of getting them without giving up other key pieces, so there would be no net gain.
Hayward and Paul George woukd be great for any team...I was naming guys thay ur team actually have a change of getting
Dude, are you serious? Jae crowder, Hayward, gay,Paul George, all are in the same boat
The Clips have no chance of getting any of these guys. This is what espn and everyone who comments abt the Clips issues at the 3 and doc's gym skills don't seem to understand
How can you get ANY of those guys without giving up Austin and / or picks? You still haven't given the thread a logical way for the Clips to upgrade their 3 position.
In fact no one really has. The fact of the matter is, when you have 3 max contracts on your team, your team won't be perfect there will be holes. For gsw it's size and bench depth now, for us it's the wing, the 3 position. It is what it is.
Jae Crowder would ABSOLUTLEY be what this team needs .
3&D. Versatile. Can play small ball 4....and can handle it.
Boston won't give him up for nothing. And I doubt the clips have anything worth their while to give up.
Been wanting Crowder on the clips for the last 3 years

Crowder/Gay/Hayward is free agents after this season, but I'm guessing Crowder would be easier to get but if I wanted any of these guys and wanna compete, I'm giving up Rivers and picks easily
The Clips are going to (or at least try to) resign CP, Blake, and JJ.
Where in the world are they going to find the money to pay the guys you mentioned this summer?
Furthermore, the jazz aren't trading Gordon, and iit makes no sense to trade for these guys in season, give up assets for these guys in season, when there's a solid chance that they'll sign somewhere else this summer.
It makes no sense man.
I was confused when I saw these names. I was like...what cap space did Clips free up .
Team couldn't get Kent Bazemore in the summer. But I'm seeing PG13 and Gordo's name thrown around. What?
Off the top of my head....I can't think of a quality 3 that the clips can realistically get.
Swing a trade for Kelly Oubre or something . Wiz need to beef up the bench too .
Exactly my point.
Luc almost didn't make the team last year and now is shooting 40% on 3s and providing elite wing defense. I don't know how much more anyone could realistically expect from that position.
Tbh Austin's progression in that role has been a godsend for them and as maligned as Doc has been (and rightfully so in some cases) as a gm, finding Luc, and trading for Austin were reallyyy good.
At the end of the day you would like someone better than Luc at that position, but I genuinely don't have a clue as to how they would go about fulfilling that. Your hope is that guys like Luc and Austin play above their deals and reputation, which is a critical component to a championship team. No team is perfect, all teams have issues, it's just a matter of if your issue is fatal or not imo
I wouldn't resign Redick
U guys need another guy that can create his own shot, u can't only have 1 playmaker
