Health is key man. If we are healthy, we will be hard to beat. All the pnr Boston did that the Clippers switched wouldn't have worked as well with a healthy PG and Beverly on the floor with mook, klaw and trezz.
Kawhi didn't have the best game, but I think that was because of well timed doubles and it was incredible how many deflections Boston had. They were really disruptive.
Lou will did his thing and definitely got screwed on that 4 point play at the end. Not saying that would have won the game...but hey. Refs sucked again too.
I've heard "why isn't kawhi guarding Tatum?" He was...Boston would run pnr and get klaw off Tatum. With our chemistry and continuity issues I don't feel like it was the time for doc to say..."screw the switch everything" we are gonna start soft hedge and catch or whatever on Tatum etc. It would-be just created too many holes. Especially with mook being new.
Look hit a few big shots. And he hasn't been the "ball stopper" folks make him out to be.
I'm on board with you guys now, to have no continuity, no chemistry, no consistency and be a game out of 2 seed, and 5 out of the 1, we are in great shape.
I truly believe that everyone that's been held out, has been held out longer than needed for precautionary purposes. I feel like if this were the playoffs, everybody would be available...maybe 50/50 for pg. Hopefully pg sits out at least 2 weeks and really gets that hammy right.
