Only 3 games back from Utah...could we catch them?

I doubt it. I think we’re done playing them and they have the tie breaker.
They’ve played well enough so far without Mitchell that I don’t see them losing enough for us to make up 3 games. And I also think it’s very important to them to hold on to the 1 seed, so they’re probably not going to rest guys who can play like we do.
yeah Utah is still doing well minus Mitchell and their remaining schedule isn't too tough so i see them holding onto that 1 seed.
i do think we will end up being the 2 seed, but honestly seeing how none of the teams 6-8 havent played the greatest, i dont really care if we stay at 3. just would avoid our team slipping to 4 since i dont like the idea of having to potentially face LAL and Utah in the first two rounds.
but hey, if we're really a championship team, then we shouldnt worry about our guys taking care of business against any team in the playoffs despite what our track record in the post season looks like lol

depending on when lebron and ad returns, it might be beat to play then first before they get warmed up and get going

I think we were a healthy porzigis away from being out in the first round last year. Not because of talent though. I felt like the Clippers were better suited to face the jazz, because of Jokic. I was really afraid of the star power in him.
We were truly the better team in that series as well. But hey...That's ancient history as far as I'm concerned.

We were a coaching adjustment away from wining 4-1. 4-2, or 4-3. Whatever though. Maybe flying under the radar this year will help the team.

i honestly dont think the mavs was ready in the bubble, porzingis or not, clips would have won that series and truly believed that, one of the losses was a luka deep 3 and after that i think the clips killed em for 25-30 pts? had it gone to game 7, morris would have just further broken lukas ankle

Another good win tonight. The bubble was weird for the clips for sure. If there was a team that was both bad enough to be out in round one and yet still be good enough to win rounds 1 and 2, 4-1 and 4-1, it was that team.

If Utah keeps losing to teams like the T-Wolves, as they did last night, maybe we will have a chance to catch them.
Gotta take care of business against NO tomorrow. If PHX looses to Brooklyn today, the game on Wednesday could be for the number 2 spot.
didnt really think 1 seed would be in reach but that Utah loss to Minny last night was pretty big in helping us considering we prob have the most "laxed" schedule remaining.

Are you guys concern about Kawhi's foot and it being more serious than we are to believe or do you think we are just being overly couscous for his health for the Playoffs? Cuz we are right there to take the 2nd and need to keep winning? Big game tonight and even bigger game against the Suns on Wednesday.

I’m not worried about Kawhi’s foot yet. I think the team is just being extra-cautious, which we can do because we’re still winning. But I hope he gets a few games back in before the playoffs to get back in game shape.
