OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2024-2025 SEASON THREAD

Im excited for this series. Should be less gimmicky. I wouldn’t be against giving bev minutes in the same way we gave Luke and Mann minutes last series. He’s better than he’s showed.

I also think we’re really gonna need Ibaka but im guessing he’s sone for the postseason

^^^ Yeah, I’m just assuming we’re getting nothing out Ibaka the entire post-season.

Such roller-coaster of emotions with this team but that's what we all signed up for rooting for this ball club! Big ups to Ty Lue for making all the adjustments Doc would have never made. I've questioned Ty Lue all season long but when it comes push to shove, he will make all the adjustments even when its not popular. Our bench has really stepped up and guys like Mann and Kennard showed why they deserve minutes. Even guys like Pat Bev, PatPat & Rondo taking reduced to DNP's deserves credit for being professionals and pumping up the guys that took their minutes. Hopefully this was the series we look back on when we get far in the playoffs as the one that really got this team over the hump/battled tested. On to Utah which will also be a very tough series! Lets Go!!

Remember when I told you guys we should compare Luke to people with similar deals last summer? Specifically Kuzma who signed basically the same deal.

Kuzma’s numbers in their series - 6-4-1 on 29/17/67

that contract will not look as bad as we move forward. That’s just the market for that type of player

Also, i find it hilarious that Mook ended up shooting right around his season avg from 3 this series - 45% lmfao

Morris has to be the happiest of all the Clippers about moving on from Luka.

I seriously can’t remember one stop when Mook got switched on to Luka. Either a bucket and/or a foul every time, plus one dunk on too. BBQd, baked, broiled and sautéed.

Man I likes Luka just like how I used to like Harden but their style of play is insufferable. Luka has the ball 99% of the time and his #1 objective is getting a cheap foul. That causes the defender to not contest shots which gives him open looks. Then if the defender plays good defense, Luka will just pass the ball and get it right back to start the process all over again. You can’t play defense against him or you’ll get penalized. Gotta give him open looks all game.

Also, how is that off arm keeping the defender on his side not a foul? If you do that off a post move it’s a chicken wing. Should be the same thing.

Anyway, glad to send his fat *** home again. I hope he switches uphis style but it works so i can’t blame him for sticking with it :lol

i kept telling my bro about that off arm, he does it so often

aside from whining about every single contact, dude reacts like a child when his teammates gets a call

and still not sure how he didnt get a tech when dude sat on the ground in front of the ref when he didnt like their call

He was being bullied in the post by 77 too

Yea, obviously would love clips in 6 but Utah is the understandable favorite. Let’s get Game 1. I HOPE we grew mentally as a team last round. The one thing that gives me pace of mind is Ty is gonna switch things up if needed to win this series. That’s what used to kill me with Doc. Seeing it now with Philly too. Not staggering stars, playing 5 man bench units at the same time.

^^^ Yeah, I'm hoping some lessons about approach were learned in round 1. Honestly think we came into Game 1 against the Mavs thinking all we had to do to win was show up. I expect more focus to start this series. But we'll see.

I couldn't agree more about Ty's ability to switch things up and make the needed adjustments. I just hope he has a shorter leash and doesn't wait until we down 2-0 before making those adjustments. Utah is more mentally tough than Dallas so we won't be able to get away with it in this series. Lets Go!!!

pat looking real bad, minutes should be going to rondo and mann

luke showing why he’s worth that money early on, hopefully he can maintain this level of play throughout the series

clips need to punish this team for their misses, feels like they should be up 20 by now

dont need to match missed 3s for missed 3s
