Let's be honest, if there was such a thing as trap game in the Playoffs, this game would qualify as a classic trap game. We just finished a 7 games series while Utah had 5 days off. All the hustle/50-50 balls were in favor of the Jazz cuz they had the rested legs. It was obvious Kawhi & PG were fatigued cuz their shots were flatter than usual. The fact that we only loss by 3 and had a chance to steal game 1 with the packed Utah house gives me hope. Just gotta remember that its a long series and game 1 is aways a feeler type game. Ty will make his adjustments. Some of the positives was seeing Ty playing deep into the bench and giving Boogie some burn. He was effective in his small spurts and with Ibaka most likely done at least for this series, we're gonna need more Boogie. Also glad to see Zu get more PT with his match up against Gobert. He should be able to shine in this series. Kennard maximizing is opportunities when playing and not wasting his contract. Lets even up the series Thursday and protect home court!

I think they have. We’ve gotten called for like 3 illegal screens and 3 loose ball rebound fouls. Pretty high for playoff game, IMO.

And they won’t call a foul on Goobert unless he decapitates someone.

first 2 games on the road been mad frustrating to watch with utah getting all those calls and us dropping them despite both being very winnable games

we had a good game by luke gm1 and reggie gm2, but gonna need Kawhi, PG and even Morris to step up and knock down their shots if we wanna get back in it

the 3 ball is such a big factor in this series
game 1 was pretty even with us at 16 and utah at 17, we lost by 3 lol
game 2, the fact that utah had 20 3's made last night compared to our 11 and we only lost by 6 is pretty encouraging

curious to see what adjustments ty makes, but this is where i think ibaka would have made the difference since he is a big that can stretch the floor for our guys to drive instead of settle for a long jumper while also being able to play on the defensive end as well

I had already been assuming he was done for the season. Him being out for months, playing a little in 3 games and then going out again was a pretty bad sign.

only caught then end last night when it was all tied up but only listened through the radio and damn, so close

but this clipper hate is a funny thing, last series theyre saying "if dallas made a few more 3s" and its like... how about the clips? how about the team that broke the record in 3pt% for the season? if they made their usual 3s then the series would have been done in 5 but give the credit to the team who shot like 60%-70% from behind the arc for in the beginning of the series?

and now, theyre saying the team is done and the "analysts" whose saying the same thing about the Mavs are nowhere to be found... what about if mook and patbev made those two open 3s and put the lead to 7-8 then they win that game but nope, thats too much credit being given to the clips, to them they are done for the second series in a row



i really got to avoid all these shows and podcast after the clips loses
