I hate to bring up the Angels but I was so tired of them getting all the "big name" players and people thinking they were a better team/orginazation in this city.

no hate on the dodgers because techniclly they are my 2nd team and i want to see them do well whenever their not playing the mets and i go to alot of gamesand even attended 3 niketalk summits at dodger stadium but over the past 10 years or so the angels have been a way better team/ organization.

the dodgers have better and a more loyal fanbase then the angels but they've done a whole lot of nothing over the past 10 years. imo all they need isone playoff series victorty to get that confidence to make a deep playoff run, and if the dodgers ever win another world series i can imagine the paradebeing 10 times as big as any of the laker parades were seeing how many dodger fans it is here in la

There wont be a press conference, well, Manny will speak to the media tomorrow behind home plate at Dodger Stadium.

Manny was given #28, but he declined it for #66. He then declined that one for #99.

Can the Dodgers man up and DFA or AAA jones? It's just dead weight that he brings to the table.

He's exceeded my expectation of him Defensively, but his bat is as cold as a winter storm.

EVERYTHING I've heard has said he'll be there tonight. I have a pretty good feeling feeling Andruw Jones made his last out last night for a while. and if I don't get to see Manny play, hey, at least I'll have a cooler bag to show for it.

what kind of sucks is the my buddy and his wife (who is driving) are notorious for showing up late. so I'll probably miss the pregame intros

Yes.... but he can refuse the assignment to AAA since he has over 5 years MLB experience...

if you DFA him, it frees up a 40 man roster spot, but not sure who would want to get him in a trade especially with the big contract... or you can justrelease him entirely, provided he clears waivers

but the Dodgers are still on the hook for his salary, so it looks like they'll have to keep him

... unless they put him on the DL with a "phantom" injury...

not sure. my friends grandpa founded Tampico Spice Co. and he and his mom both work there. Couple times a year, his mom does a company night at thestadium. she does the group ticket thing. but I wanna say that last time they sat in like 6 or 8.
