**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

They NEED somethin to move on to.

Nelly fans became 50 fans.

50 fans became Kanye fans.

Who are Drake fans gonna move onto? Some new guy that's influenced by Drake?

And "0-100" was pretty successful. Sounds nothing like "Hold On We're Going Home" or "Hotline Bling". So what's this box you speak of? I'd like to know more about it.

Nobody should write for puff but Los. Same damn time verse was the type of **** puff need to spit.

I was just explaining how people overlook certain stuff and situations for what they want to see.

That wasn't a high character move by Drake, and it was against Puff of all people. Imagine what he's doing to the nobody.

And we live in a era, where these new fans don't care, they just care about the end result.

These situations can definitely change to the point people don't look at you as the underdog and root for you.

Los can rap, but he can't make a hit

Puff needs easily accessible bars, not deep lyrical stuff.

What "run" is Drake on?? Like people have said before his music is more so here today and gone tomorrow with no real lasting holding/sticking style. As a rapper....how great or how good of a run are you truly on if you don't have a classic/classics to your name.

Take Care still sounds good to me.

So does So Far Gone.

I can also still play Club Paradise, DMCB, etc.

It's been 5 years of him being a cultural juggernaut in urban culture, you really can't say this is a fluke or flash in the pan thing. Even if he falls off tomorrow, he still dominated for 5 years :lol.

Yikes.....bless your heart.

Think about it this way, in the last 6 years when have you NOT heard Drake? When have we NOT been talking about him? Seeing him?

There has not been a year in that time span where he didn't have a big hit on his own, or with somebody else. He literally had a time when he was just featuring on other guy's songs and every song people were playing, quoting, ect. If his music is 'here today gone tomorrow' explain that, because obviously the people aren't tired of him.

Here today gone tomorrow? It's been 6 years :lol Y'all are letting your own hatred affect your view of reality

He has classics in the eyes of those who consume his music. That's ALL that matters. Satisfying your fan base.

He was on the guy in your avy album 6 years ago and has appeared on 2 of Drake's album.

How many non Roc-a-Fella artists have Jay on 2 separate albums, 3 years apart?

Music being played to and listened to by teenagers doesn't interest me. If it does for you....then more power to you. The vast majority of Drake's audience is still claimed as a dependent on their parents income taxes. Not my kind of crowd champ.

Exactly why he does what he does. Cathes a hot single that's buzzing from a no name rapper, hops on it while its building momentum so he can be on that big song. Made sure he got on a track with fetty hiring his crazy run, did a whole tape with future while he's in his prime, when he was just hoeing son a few years back. I gotta give it to him, the guy is smart. Seen that cha cha song blowing and for whatever reason didn't get dude to remix and put him on it so he made his own version. Seeing how bobby, quan and other dudes dancing in their videos getting all type of gifts and internet presence what does he do? Dude is finessing the game, tho I can't stand him I ain't even mad at the hustle cuz these dudes letting it happen.

^^ aka large portion f his fans are 14-22. I personally think as long as no one else comes along and steals the white peoples heart he will be fine. But if someone else comes and wins them over, rip to him just like they left Wayne for him.

When I say here today gone tomorrow I mean who later on down the line in 10 years or so is really going to sit back and listen to old Drake songs or albums. The answer to that question is and should be a resounding NOBODY.

Maybe Drake is just a fan of the art.

Ever think about that? I wish more artists did that. Hop on a hot record and allow a new artist to gain national exposure.

That's a BAD thing? :lol

In all fairness, every rapper does this...

He is not the only one to get on others beats so he can have the song at his shows or in the club.

That's ridiculous.

Theres kids out there who had Take Care as the backdrop for whatever they went through with their relationships during their formative years. Or NWTS was the backdrop to them having fun in college. You think they're not gonna go back and listen to Take Care at 25, 35 and be flooded with memories?

True kanye did it to keef, but other artist don't get credit for breaking said artist. Its not like he's just listening to songs on sound cloud and throwing oops to dudes who he think has talent, he literally waits til a song has a crazy following and is about to bubble then uses it for his own gain. Its gonna turn into the Dolph/gotti situation soon where real dudes gonna say no cuz they don't wanna hear dudes say drake made __ hot. Like when I saw Kodak black becoming popular online I swear to god I knew it was coming, like son can't even relate to that type of music but gonna co sign it on the web for props. Wouldn't be surprised if dude popped up with a skrt remix. But IDC what nobody say that cha cha hotline bling **** was a ho *** move, fighting words. If I'm dram its on sight [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji].

The man went platinum off a surprise mixtape with no videos.

You guys are questioning when his star will fade? Questioning his fan base?

These old ****** don't understand that fam....y'all won't make the rules forever...it's a new time. Soon we gon be old like y'all reminiscing with artists WE grew up with...everyone top 5s ain't gonna be jay z rakim nas etc. just wait on it

Honeslty if Drake wasnt Canadian he wouldnt be as hot IMO. He has pretty much that whole country backing him. No one ever talks about that. I think its a huge advantage to him staying relevant and selling records.
