Ricky Rubio will sign a six-year contract with FC Barcelona. It will be the most expensive buyout in the history of European basketball: 3.7 euros (around $5.3 million dollars). What does this mean? If this news is valid (you never now over there) it's likely Rubio stays overseas till 2011. I believe his contract will increasesignificantly (he was making less than $100,000 US the last year) which will help with his comfort factor of staying over there for now I'm sure.

And once again from everything I am hearing Rubio has no major issues coming to Minnesota and hasn't for some time. He wants to get to the NBA badly.
