Cool and np. Glad you scored.

Missed the flash sale, but I copped some 95 East all star shorts on ebay for $65 a couple of days ago. Them ****s dried up fast and I jumped on that listing when I saw it.

Are the font sizes of the letters and numbers accurate for this 1975 Steelers Terry Bradshaw jersey?

No diss but what's up with you finding the number and font accurate lol
You can easily Google dat ish

No problem.

I'm detail oriented like that. I prefer things to be accurate due to their value and gimmick of accurate reproduction.

Google isn't always accurate because it can be hard to see old photos on a computer screen.

The internet is a gift and a curse. There’s more photos online than ever. There’s also more mislabeled photos online than ever. It’s tricky lol

Word on M&N’s accuracy gimmick.

I would say M&N’s accuracy rate is....not very good IMO.

They’ll hit some home runs but bomb the easiest stuff to get correct.

Regarding the Bradshaw, there’s a few things- as I’ve shared with Realest in PM.

Wrong name font. It should be the thin, sand-knit font that’s used on most the Raiders jerseys.

And the same number font used in the raiders jerseys from the 70s-now. If you look at the 1 On the Bradshaw, it’s not even the same font family As the 2. The serif dips way low. On the back “12” it’s especially obvious, since they elongated the “2”, but clearly not the “1”.

This is one of the worst Bradshaw runs they’ve done. Like someone majorly messed up the image files and they never corrected it.

For some reason, M&N has been really inconsistent with the Steelers jerseys. The 1996 Bettis isn’t near the same number font as all the other Steelers jerseys.

Agreed!

This site is good to go to because of the myriad of jersey fanatics on here.

I swear some of the people on here have a masters degree in jerseys. When I first subbed I couldn’t believe some of the knowledge being dropped. One of my favorite threads to read on NT

Recent m&n is actually pretty decently accurate overall. The bad material is another story. Sometimes you can't make things exactly the way it was made back in the day (ex: durene material is extinct and wool flannel has changed over the years). There's a bunch of mistakes made over the years that were avoidable but it's a reproduction.

I guess go buy the OG then if you're not a fan of MN reproduction. I'm sick of all these complaints about inaccuracies. Let's stick to the formula that works: pictures of recent pick ups.

I’ll put it like this. We’re mostly copping these jerseys on discount or when they have decent promo codes anyway, but if accuracy is that important to someone, they should go for an og pro cut or team issued jersey. Believe it or not, the older champion, Nike, starter, Reebok and adidas retail authentics had plenty of discrepancies compared to their actual on court counterparts. Same with nfl authentics from that era, so it’s just the same with m&n.

If the inaccuracies are too big a deal for me (wrong material on the 97-98 black Timberwolves jerseys) I won’t cop because it some point I’ll draw the line. But minor discrepancies I can live with. Especially when I’m buying most my stuff on my terms and significantly less than retail. If I tolerate it on retail authentics, it’s the same when it comes to m&n for me.

The complaint against... complaining (lol)... is warranted. I also believe there is need for educational critique. It's pretty civil in here, so i don't think anyone really took offense.

I'm pretty open about pointing out discrepencies, but only when it's invited or appropriate- like the Wolves debacle smh. For most people, do you.

For the really picky people, feel free to PM me and I'll share my 2 cents and then some
