on the countdown last night, fitch kept saying he was going to finish bj 

.  he hasn't finished a fight in nearly 4 years.  crazy stuff always happens in mma so maybe he'll find a way to end the fight.

One-time WEC featherweight title contender Manny Gamburyan has suffered a back injury and has withdrawn from his March 19 bout with Raphael Assuncao at UFC 128

Sherdog.com confirmed the injury with a source close to the fighter after MMAFighting.com initially reported the news early Friday morning. It is unknown if the UFC is seeking a replacement for the Armenian judoka.

UFC 128 will emanate from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., and will be headlined by a light heavyweight title bout between reigning champion Mauricio Rua and Jon Jones. Also scheduled for the card is a pivotal bantamweight scrap showcasing former WEC champions Urijah Faber and Eddie Wineland.

I really hope BJ wins tonight because I really can't stand Fitch. Even if Fitch wins by grinding out BJ I really hope they don't give him the title shot .

Just watched the countdown special. I'm really pulling for Jorge Rivera now. Well, I was already because I hate Bisping, but after seeing Rivera's story, I'm really pulling for him.


And I hope Penn destroys Fitch. If Fitch wins, it basically means the main event has put us all to sleep.

Yeah, I agree with you.  Not very fun to watch.  Great wrestling technique (front headlock control) shown by Fukuda at end there, though.
Kinda funny, since that went almost exactly like Ring's TUF victory
