As for Nova.. I still like the kid.. I think the problem is he's been moved up to be considered our #2. When he should be a weak #3/ strong #4. It would give him more favorable matchups, and much less pressure for a 2nd/3rd Year Guy.

Next year I really hope we pursue a #2 starter and have Pineda #3, Nova #4... And since Pettitte is 50/50 make him #5...

And keep Hughes in semi-rotation giving him a start every few weeks to give everyone an extra day of rest.

It's Girardi nothing we can do..

I really like Chavez & Nix... Would be nice to retain them both (especially Chavez dude has been underrated this year) and have them play like 70% of games at 3B. ARod plays DH and moves to 3B when someone else needs to be DH.

I think Next Year is all about having a lot of options to keep injuries down...
