Yes, amnesty Kobe and trade Pau to sign OJ Mayo.

Aren't you a smart one.

obviously you bring in or lure other FA's after unloading all that salary in addition to OJ maybe Granger.

Oh well hell, get rid of Kobe and Pau for OJ AND Granger, that makes it look much better, yes. Yes, cuz that sounds exactly like something the LA Lakers would do.

:lol

I said maybe :lol

not my team not my problem but the current group in place even with a healthy kobester won't get that far in the playoffs.

But one with OJ Mayo, and Danny Granger, that group could go places.

Ok. :lol

drop all that dead weight on the bench then upgrade and replace Metta with Granger and Pau with anyone that plays with heart consistently and you have a formula for success. Right now keeping Pau and Metta won't allow anything significant to happen for yall this offseason (salary wise). Surprised you as a LOL fan are satisfied with the way your teams 2012-13 season went which is fine by me. :D

Said, the Clipper fan.

Sure bud.

Take a team that played exactly ONE game, the entire season with a full roster, drop some of their best pieces, for OJ and Granger and THAT'S the formula for success. Ah-ha, I see.

Point to me where I said even one single word about being satisfied. Where?

You're drunk. You have ZERO idea what I think about this season, not even a clue, so quit acting like you know something.

If you knew anything, you'd know that I pointed out this has been easily one of the worst, if not THEE worst seasons in Laker history. And by my math, it would still qualify as a top 5 all time Clipper season, so please, sit down. Work out how dropping Pau and Kobe for Mayo and Granger works and makes any sort of sense and then get back to us.

Ok, I see you're just typin to type. Sure.

Didn't CP3 and the Hornets quit on Byron Scott so bad that they lost by 40 @ home in a close out game in the playoffs? :lol

Why do bad coaches get so much love around here? You guys were in here crying a river when Avery Johnson got fired too. :lol

In other words you're not ignoring his attempts, you're just ignoring that a three is worth more than a two. :lol

Except that doesn't usually happen. During this 21-game stretch since March 1st that you keep harping on, he's had as many shot attempts as points 3 times.

During that same 21 game stretch, he was at 40% or under 12 times and under 45% 14 times. Forget everything else, he shot 42% or lower 14 out of 21 times. Like I keep saying, that isn't good by any stretch. I guess you're for that kind of business though, as long as his "True shooting percentage" is high. Whatever. I'm done with it. At the end of the day, his shooting has been far less than stellar over the last two months. He's taking and missing more than a majority of his shots. That's all i'm saying, and the boxscores from the last two months back that up.

Again, however you want to slice it, he's throwing up 6/24, 8/25, 5/18, 7/24, 9/21, 3/17, 5/17, all over the place. That's inefficient shooting. That's what he's done. That isn't good. Period. But like I said, I'm done with it.

This Laker talk is stupid.

They barely made it in the playoffs and they're cooking?

The spurs aren't at their best yet they're still second in the west.

The thing that bothers me about this flawed logic is that laker fans are saying they're going to take it etc. Yet when the spurs win, it's going to be "they were supposed to win" "we were missing our best player" "Pau Nash Howard hadn't had a chance to gel yet"

I get rooting for your team etc, and the spurs aren't firing on all pistons but the lakers will lose cause they are matched up with a better team, that's better coached, with more depth, and home court advantage.

Why do you care? Why does it bother you so much? Ask yourself that question.

So all you care about is FG%, you don't care about any context whatsoever.

Please just stop.

replacing Artest/Pau with Mayo/Granger sound better to you? >D

no matter what happens good luck in the postseason and offseason figuring everything out.

Without looking at Mayo or Granger's contracts, and with Granger even more hurt than half my roster, I'd say no at first glance.

Healthy? Cheaper? Then maybe. The idea of two athletic wings that are under 30 would be nice for sure, but not sure that duo would fit in with what we currently have either. Them, Kobe, Nash, Dwight, iono. I don't see it. And neither do much for us on D either.

We won't get rich off dealing Pau, but we'd need to do something better than those 2. Be it pure shooters, hustle defenders, young PG, whatever the case.

:lol

It always blows my mind how you can puff your chest out so much in this thread but then go and try to talk about the cubs and Dolphins in the MLB and NFL season thread. By your logic, you shouldn't be able to say a aingle word about any other team in those leagues. Just sit down and stack the L's each season.

Too many "experts" picking us to win. We'll probably get swept :lol
