meh heard that b4 still haven't seen the main offenders fined (stars). But if they did fine them think if lac made it to the finals lmao bg, cp3 would be in the whole a couple hundred thousand

Honestly, in the playoffs, screw a fine. First one should be a fine, each one after should be a tech, more than three = suspension. Make it painful and folks will stop doing it. You think 30k means **** to these dudes? That's a night at the club. :lol

If they count offensive flops then Harden might as well set up a direct-deposit to the league.

Can't wait for ska to keep track of Clipper "scowls" and flops. :lol

Can someone enlighten me on why Mitch had to come out and say MDA is coming back before their season was over? Did he not notice they made it? :lol

replacing Artest/Pau with Mayo/Granger sound better to you? >D

no matter what happens good luck in the postseason and offseason figuring everything out.

Without looking at Mayo or Granger's contracts, and with Granger even more hurt than half my roster, I'd say no at first glance.

Healthy? Cheaper? Then maybe. The idea of two athletic wings that are under 30 would be nice for sure, but not sure that duo would fit in with what we currently have either. Them, Kobe, Nash, Dwight, iono. I don't see it. And neither do much for us on D either.

We won't get rich off dealing Pau, but we'd need to do something better than those 2. Be it pure shooters, hustle defenders, young PG, whatever the case.
I was thinking more in terms of finding the right players to fit MDA's "run n gun" style of play bc as of right now it seems that no one outside of Kobe/Nash can fit that particular offense he ran in PHX.. knowing Kupcake he'll probably figure it all out after the dust settles.

He answered it in the day time yesterday. I think he did it to avoid the media IF the Jazz won and they lost. Cause that's ALLLLLLLLL he woulda got asked this summer.

Too many "experts" picking us to win. We'll probably get swept :lol

I know, right. Kind of makes me uneasy too. Pretty sure hardly anyone picked us to beat Memphis last season except Clippers fans. I prefer being the underdog in this situation. Good news is, we make it out of this round, we'll be underdogs from that point forward.

Don't know about that. There's still the little matter of re-signing Dwight Howard. I think that's going to be question #1 for Mitch after the Lakers are done.

While that is true if they hadn't made the playoffs the media would have been calling for 'Antoni's head. Mitch nipped it in the butt like a good business man would and basically said don't ask me no questions about Mike no matter how our season ends. And with Dwight it's clear 100% Mitch is gonna try and resign Dwight. It's on Dwight to sign. So there's no question for Mitch. He's gonna answer "We're gonna offer him the Max"

Good points.

Where else would CP3 go? Take less money to play with who?

I doubt he leaves LA

Exactly. Not to mention, he's gotten more endorsements here than he ever has before, he's probably going to get a say in picking the next coach and clearly has influence over personnel moves here. I just don't see any place that would be a better situation for him.

Why does everyone panic with these damn contracts.

No player unless they are that unhappy in the situation they are in (And I am talking A+++++ star playing on the Bobcats or Kings and still only getting 20 wins a season every year unhappy) does not leave the money on the table.

Paul is staying with the Clippers. They are dumb to make any financial decision like an Extension of the current contract they are in which even makes them earn less money. remember, the three scales are:

MAX with current team: 4 OR 5 years (depending if you were grandfathered into the Collective Bargaining agreement.) 100/120 million.

MAX with new team: 4 years up to 75 Million

Extension of current contract with same team: 3 years/40 million.

These players make the best option and let the contract expire. It was like last year with Dwight, he was only going to get 4 years 100 million if he got dealt somewhere and then signed a new contract.. signing the tender with the Magic and being dealt gave him the full amount of his current contract and the Lakers being able to offer him 5 years at 120 million. Dwight knew what he was doing and so will Paul.

Perfect solution: CP3 just comes across the hallway like it should have been from the get go #basketballreasons

Mike Woodson (Knicks) and Mike D'Antoni (Lakers) named the East and West Coaches of the Month.
