Nah. At least someone will vote for KD or CP3. LeBron will be close to unanimous, but not unanimous.

KD will get a homer vote from some OKC reporter. CP3 might get one vote from an LA guy. Regardless, anyone who votes for a player other than LeBron needs their voting rights revoked.

When Shaq didn't win unanimous MVP in 1999-2000 it convinced me that nobody ever will.

There's always at least 1 jackass who just wants to go against the grain when there's an obvious choice.

Looking at some voting of past years... Kevin Garnett's MVP season? A vote for Peja

I'm not saying he should have won it that year, but he definitely deserved considerations that year... no Kings homer

Consideration for the top 5, sure. KG had the best numbers in the league and his team finished 1st in the West compared to 4th. That one should've been unanimous.

Yes yes Peja had a great year and bully for him

But no, he did not deserve a first place vote for MVP over KG that year. They had the same points and Peja shot excellently, but KG had 7.6 more rebounds, 3 more assists, 2 more blocks, he was absolutely the superior player.

exactly..... and just know that in sports voting there is hardly anything that is ever unanimous

am I reaching saying that KG had the better team that year?? with Cassel and Spree (was Wally World there still?)

Peja literally carried that Kings team

Again, I dont see how it's less than obvious that cp deserves serious mvp consideration. He led the clippers to the playoffs. The Clippers.... He really deserved the award last year, imo.

Take lebron off the heat and they're still a 50+ win team. Take cp off the clips and you have a few dunks here and there.

DubA probably doesn't even think that.

LeBron had one of the greatest seasons in the history of basketball and his team won 6 more games than the next best team. There's nothing to really discuss.

You take Jordan off the Bulls & they win 55 games & nearly make the Conference Finals.

Doesn't make Jordan any less of an MVP.
