Even Carmelo could probably get at least 8 assists with the Heat. Every pass is almost an automatic assist with all those players. Do you see Andersen making 7 acrobatic layups per game? :{

Imagine if Lebron had Chandler fumbling stuff or if the Heat still sent Joel Anthony out there? :{

30 points is to be expected even from a regular all star type of player.

The impressive stuff is his efficiency (fg %) and his rebounding. His defense was kinda weak.

I was much more impressed with Paul George. Dude was guarding both Wade and Lebron. Sometimes he switched from Lebron to Wade in the same possession :x. He did a good job considering that he also had to score. He was actually more clutch then Lebron. :{

Why doesn't Lebron guard David West more when he torches the Heat? I bet he would get abused in the post.
How many times was 7,2 hibbert blocked by Lebron?

Phil to pick Russel over Jordan...

If given the choice of any player in NBA history to start a franchise, legendary coach Phil Jackson says that Celtics center Bill Russell would win out over his former player, Michael Jordan.

“In my estimation, the guy that has to be there in Bill Russell, who has won 11 championships as a player,” Jackson says, in an interview with Time. “That’s really the idea of what excellence is, when you win championships.”

In addition to his 11 titles with the Celtics in the 1950s and 1960s, Russell was a five-time MVP and 12-time All-Star. Jordan won six championships playing for the Bulls in the 1990s under Jackson, earning five MVP awards and 14 All-Star Game selections.

Jackson dodged when asked to select between Jordan and Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who he coached to five titles between 2000 and 2010.

“I would flip a coin,” he said. “Whichever one came up heads or tails, I’d take that person. They were that good.”

I swear I think Blake Griffin's name on that list has to be a misprint or something. Every single player on that 3rd team plus Steph Curry deserved to make it on the 2nd team over him.

Huh?! :lol

Marc didn't put up 15 and 12 and the reasoning behind him making All NBA 1st team goes far beyond points and rebounds. Same reason why he won DPOY and the fact that he's our most valuable player. Zach is not. That's why I said he got snubbed from the all star team. ZBo made it because he was the leading scorer on our team at that time and rebounder.

And why everybody see my post now about numbers? When I brought up the George-Gay argument, no one wanted to respond to them damn numbers.

I'm not talking about the ASG snub or any of that :lol, you said Marc got snubbed for all NBA and he didn't. 18, 8, and almost 2 blks is good, but not all nba 1st team, which isn't a snub.

there should be a rule that you have to have league pass or at least play fantasy bball to talk about a player's game that isn't on your local tv station. most of these back and forth arguments are just for lolz

Oh lol. Well neither is Duncan's 18, 9 and 1.5 :lol . That's who beat him out and that's who I'm comparing him too.

Tony Parker should have been first team over cp3

Nope, Chris Paul was far more valuable to the Clippers than Parker to the Spurs. Paul is also a better passer and defender than Parker.

Blake shouldn't be 2nd Team though, I'd put Aldridge or even Al Jefferson in over him

I take that back :lol Marc was at 14 a game which is a full 4 points below Duncan. Duncan Averaged more Pts & Rebs and his team did better. So If I had to pick one for All NBA 1st team, based on that it would be TD. Marc being 2nd team as far as centers go is about right.

400

You didn't know most of NT are former basketball MVPS? They were dropping 40-40-40 since 02

Impressive but not something to wow about. Period. When you're the ball handler 90% of the time. It's actually a requirement that you get at least 9 or 10 assists. Lebron bring up the ball 90% of time. When you're 6'9 and play forward you suppose to grab at least 10 boards. Btw Lebron got 10 boards because Bosh, Battier and Haslem already did all the hard box out works for him. The ball is just up for grab.

And hitting a game winning shot in the conference finals with 2 seconds left isn't clutch.

It wasn't a clutch shot. Period. A wide open lane layup does not require any skills. Pacers failed by over committed thus allow Lebron to get easy lay up. Lebron and the Heat got lucky. Period.

LMAO, for real...that dude needs to shut up and sit the hell down.

When you play pickup ball, try to get 6 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists...you wont even be able to get close to that. And yet lebron gets an NBA triple-double in a playoff conference semi-final...:{

stop. it.

OH i get that on a daily basis in pick up ball and i'm only 6'2. If i'm 6'9 like Lebron i would get 30-10-10 easily. Give me at least 2 good shooters, a referee and i'm set.

Lebron is 6'9 and play forward. Not to mention he is the designated ball handler 90% of all possessions. The 30-10-10 is required when you play point forward.

Rondo is a little 6 foot point guard. He get as many triple double as Lebron. Rondon triple double are actually more impressive.

Didn't LeBron quite literally single handedly dismantle the world champion incumbent Pistons?
LOL classic response. You literally just ignored my questions to ask your own. I'll answer yours though because I have no agenda. Yes LeBron take apart the Pistons but they were done. Me and you both know that. He took apart a few years removed from winning a championship Pistons not the Incumbent champions. The incumbent champions (Pistons) lost to the Spurs in the finals. LeBron didn't beat the Pistons until they were 3 years removed from winning their title. So, no he didn't beat a PRIME Pistons team by himself. Try again my friend.

I think they are pretty equal when it comes to passing. I think defense they play is completely different based of pap makes them play a team defense and a certain system where as VDN doesn't do any coaching.
I don't see much spurs games since they get no TV time but when I do see them tony Parker always seem to be the best player on the floor every time. Always controls the game (which cp3 does do well also), runs arguably the best pick in roll with Duncan.

but they were done.

It's funny how the 2007 Pistons have become 'done'. Because the following year I vividly remember them still being considered by some as best in the East and Boston's biggest challenger.

If the Pacers had to do it all over again. I guarantee they would say that they rather live with Lebron make a jumper than a wide open lay up. Vogel knew he made a mistake taking Hibbert out and PG knew he made a mistake by over commit on a mediocre shot creator.

It was a failed defensive assignment. Lebron got lucky.

All of sudden cats are claiming Lebron as the most clutch player in history lmao. Talk about simple minded folks. :rollin

The Eastern conference has been trash for years. Detroit would have been a middle of the road team in the west in 07. The Pistons were done but they played in the 2 team trash eastern conference just like LeBron did. I'm not discrediting LeBron though. I'm scoffing at the clown who try to dis Melo. I'm not even a Melo or Knicks fan.
