Them 08 pistons were one of the hottest teams in the league that season, correct me if im wrong
You mean 07 and no they weren't. The west had 2 60+ win teams while the east had zero. The west had 5 teams with a 50+ record while the east had 2.

Why the laugh though? I'd take a wide open uncontested layup against a 23 footer over 2-3 defenders. Style over substance, eh?

What the hell?

I said it was wide open layup. There's no skill or anything great about that.

The lay up was the result of fail defensive assignment on Pacers behalf. Not because Lebron beat their defense.

Pacers was like. Here Lebron have this wide open layup. lol Of course even Lebron kids would have make that wide open uncontested lay up.

That's what I said also. I'd take a wide open uncontested layup against a 23 footer over 2-3 defenders.

May it be contested or not. It was an efficient shot. No laughs for me.

Yeah apparently clutch has to be a contested shot, layup or jumper. 8o

What about a wide open jumper? Is there skill or anything great about that?

why do dudes even respond to ACB he's obviously a master troll and im not taking anyone who butchers the english language on the daily like him seriously

ACBwhatever's basic argument is "Lebron handles the ball most of the time, so getting 10 assists isn't impressive. Lebron is 6'9" so getting 10 rebounds isn't impressive. 30-10-10 is REQUIRED if you're a point forward" :rollin

I have to know... please just PM me and tell me if you're actually serious or you're just trolling for attention. I promise I won't tell anyone :lol

Seriously, though... what would Lebron have to do to impress you?

NOpe. Not trolling. That was not impressive at all.

When you're the primary ball handler 90% of time you suppose to have that many assists.

And Lebron is a 6'9 forward. Rebound is his job. Not to mention he didn't even need to box out much. Battier/Haslem/Bosh etc already did that for him. He only need to grab the ball. What so impressive about that?

Lebron could have 30-10-10 and could have still lost that game. What's so impressive about that?

i don't think you get what i meant.

HERE IT IS FOR YOU AGAIN.

THERE'S NO SKILL IN MAKING A WIDE OPEN LAYUP.

THAT WAS MORE OF A FAIL DEFEND JOB BY THE PACERS THAN THE DISPLAY OF CLUTCH SKILL OF LEBRON.

Get that through your tiny head.

And those Stats are whatever. LeBron is my guy and all but to say he's the must clutch player since he started playing is 8o

Everyone knows this. You're not saying anything that matters.

You saying 30/10/10 is not impressive and GW layup I don't care how easy it appeared it was still a GW in the ECF.

If the guy in your avy did what he did yesterday, your keyboard would be sticky and you would be trolling to the max.

Enough bro.

Heat-Pacers Thriller Nets 8.2 Million Viewers
TNT's Game 1 Coverage Is Top 2013 NBA Postseason Telecast

TNT’s coverage of the Miami Heat’s one-point, overtime win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals was the top telecast of the 2013 NBA postseason.

With the game decided on LeBron James’s buzzer-beating, left-handed layup, TNT scored a 5.3 household rating and 8.2 million viewers, according to Nielsen fast nationals data. The May 22 contest was the highest-rated and most-viewed 2013 NBA playoff game to date and the top telecast on TV -- broadcast or cable -- on Wednesday night.

The Pacers-Heat telecast was up 10% in U.S. household rating versus a 4.8 mark, and 6% among total viewers compared with 7.8 million watchers, when measured against the network’s telecast of Game 1 of the 2012 Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs.

Last night’s telecast generated a 24.4 metered market rating in Miami and a 20.2 rating in Indianapolis. Miami is the 16th largest DMA among the 56 metered markets, while Indianapolis ranks 24th.

I still give props to LBJ for going to the lane though and not settling for a contested elbow jumper or floater or something..

:D 8o

i don't think you get what i meant as well. I don't care if it takes no skill to do a wide open layup. It won the game. It was efficient. It was effective.

So here it is for you again too.

I'd take a wide open uncontested layup against a 23 footer over 2-3 defenders.

Oh, and it still didn't make me laugh though.

THERE'S NO SKILL IN MAKING A WIDE OPEN LAYUP.

Can you pivot, take one dribble and be at the rim and finish with your left starting from 22 feet in 2 seconds? I know you can't, but there aren't an overwhelming amount of NBA guys who can either. It takes quite a bit of ability to get that power and explosion off of his pivot like he did.

You didn't know most of NT are former basketball MVPS? They were dropping 40-40-40 since 02

Impressive but not something to wow about. Period. When you're the ball handler 90% of the time. It's actually a requirement that you get at least 9 or 10 assists. Lebron bring up the ball 90% of time. When you're 6'9 and play forward you suppose to grab at least 10 boards. Btw Lebron got 10 boards because Bosh, Battier and Haslem already did all the hard box out works for him. The ball is just up for grab.
.

something that is impressive means it wows you....

only 1 player averaged 10 assists; rajon rondo. (cp3 had 9.7)
and "supposed to average x stats" is so stupid. you're seriously a moron.

If the Pacers had to do it all over again. I guarantee they would say that they rather live with Lebron make a jumper than a wide open lay up. Vogel knew he made a mistake taking Hibbert out and PG knew he made a mistake by over commit on a mediocre shot creator.

It was a failed defensive assignment. Lebron got lucky.

All of sudden cats are claiming Lebron as the most clutch player in history lmao. Talk about simple minded folks. :rollin

the irony.

A wide open uncontested layup. LMAO

Why the laugh though? I'd take a wide open uncontested layup against a 23 footer over 2-3 defenders. Style over substance, eh?

in the end, the goal was to get a bucket. who cares if it was a fadeaway jumper or a layup? 2 points is 2 points.

lol what? you just made it sound 100x harder than what it was. Every single NBA PG/SG/SF can do that. I sure as hell hope most D1 athletes can as well.

Most people who play any type of competitive basketball can "pivot and take on dribble and be at the rim and finish with your left starting from 22 feet in 2 seconds"

Lebron hit the game winning bucket at the buzzer in game 1 of the ECF. Cant we just leave it at that?
