If its not impressive when you're the primary ball handler, then why should we be excited when Rondo, Curry, CP3, or Parker rack up high amounts of assists?

I never get excited about Curry, Cp3 or Rondo rack up assist neither. It's their jobs.

I might get excited about little guards grabbing 9, 10 boards though. Like Rondo for example. He's like what 6 foot and had as many triple double as Lebron?

You're probably one of those guy who looked at 6 and 7 and call them dimes. lol

You know, this actually does make me think of a point I've been meaning to make on here. I've always thought of a "dime" as a particularly nice pass, like a no-look or something like that. Its always irked me when people on ESPN, etc. use "dime" as synonymous with assist. Am I wrong about this? Does anyone else think dime just means assist?

Not if you didn't average 40-20-15 bro. Not impressive
It was all driving lay ups and tipping in my own missed shots, empty stats

Lol im not trying to rustle anyone jimmies. I'm just not impress at Lebron.

Can't believe you dudes are so easily wowed by Lebron wide open lay up and triple double.

High fives. I'm out.

Someone tag me out... I've had all I can take :lol

Even under his own logic, that players aren't impressive if they fulfill the duties of their role, it's impressive that Lebron does it all :lol That's the point some of us keep making. He's not just a playmaker who had 10 assists, he's doing that plus filling the role of a forward and getting rebounds, THEN he's making defensive plays with 3 blocks, and then he's scoring 30 points on 50% shooting as a perimeter player. That, by the very definition of the word, is impressive.

lay ups + easy transition dunks for half of that 30 points is impressive now?

if all that is as unimpressive as you claim, why don't any other premier players get the transition layups and easy transition dunks and go for triple doublesat the rate lebron does?

He finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, and it's a measure of his greatness that we've become numb to that kind of stat line. Per Elias, only one other player in playoff history had a 30-10-10 line with three blocks: Ralph Sampson in 1986.

if you're not impressed by that then you're just blind.

But I bet its impressive when Kobe scores thirty on like 35% FG shooting, with a bunch of contested fadeaways and forced 3s, right?

Basically, what you seem to be saying is that efficiency and a high rate of effectiveness can't be impressive. That makes a lot of sense.

We brought up other players but he pretty much took it back down to the player he doesn't want to acknowledge ever having a good game.

You must live one of the most exciting and extraordinary lives on the planet for you not to be excited by anything.

If the Pacers had to do it all over again. I guarantee they would say that they rather live with Lebron make a jumper than a wide open lay up. Vogel knew he made a mistake taking Hibbert out and PG knew he made a mistake by over commit on a mediocre shot creator.

It was a failed defensive assignment. Lebron got lucky.

All of sudden cats are claiming Lebron as the most clutch player in history lmao. Talk about simple minded folks. :rollin

Ironic huh?

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but I just noticed that out of the 15 All-NBA selections only 4 players are from the East (LeBron, Melo, George, and Wade). :rollin

I don't know how the East continues to bad. Its been that way, like for over a decade, maybe longer than that

I was thinking about something earlier. If Blake Grifin makes any All NBA team over David Lee then its robbery

1st Team

Paul, Bryant, James, Durant, Gasol

2nd Team

WestBrook, Wade, Anthony, Lee, Duncan

3rd Team

Parker, Harden, George, Griffin, Howard

Parker will get screwed and dropped that low, and I wouldnt be surprised if the powers that be fumble the rock and put Howard over Duncan for some reason. Howard shouldnt go at all and that 3rd team spot should belong to Lopez but I just dont see that coming to fruition
