The Lakers will trade me for Amare before they trade Pau for Amare. Amare would damn near make us a lottery team, keep that dude on the other side of the country, please.

I don't need to see a bunch of vicious dunks in the final 30 seconds, down 9. No thanks.

Blake Griffin :lol

Dude is going nowhere with those spinning layups :{

sad but true :{

Can't wait till Chauncey and Grant get back.

You need to let it the hell go man. Grant is fine, he'll do what he does, but if you expect ANYTHING out of Billups, you are in for a major major letdown.

Dude was washed 3 years ago, now he's comin back from an achilles. It's over man. He's not going to help you guys. Seriously, let him go.

I'm not sure why people listen to Laker trade rumors so much. Outside of the Dwight Howard-Andrew Bynum trade rumors over the years (which was too easy to predict), Mitch Kupchak and management don't leak trade rumors. The trades Kupchak tends to complete usually come out of no where.

And a trade rumor that makes absolutely NO sense. Why would the Lakers trade Gasol for a shot knees, bad back, Amare Stoudemire? It doesn't even sound plausible.

I was just about to say this.

Also, I agree with CP on Chauncey. The guy is 36 years old and coming back from an injury like that. tts already hard enough for younger players to make a successful return to the NBA after an achilles injury.

I'll put off eating crow until I see what Chaunce can give us in limited minutes. That's like me writing off Steve Nash just bc of his injury and age. BTW last season before he went down his production and bball iq didn't hurt us. In fact, I believe we were 16-4 at the time (just sayin).

Again not trying to make this into some large debate just giving you my opinion. Thank you for me giving me yours.

Respect.

You can't compare Nash injury to BIllups injury. You also can't compare his production from last season before the injury to what he can do after an injury like that. Just factor in that type of injury with his age and its not looking too good. I also think there is a great chance of him getting hurt again with some other injury before he can even get 20 games in. I hope that doesn't happen, but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Billups is 36 Nash is 39. Not giving up on my dude just yet. Plus he's already been involved in full contact 5-on-5 practices for awhile now. He could have returned weeks ago but Del Negro felt that he didn't need to rush him back based on how well the team was doing at the time. All I'm saying is I prefer the "wait and see" approach vs the "write him off" approach.

Crazy, I think thats my 1st time ever hearing Harden speak.

He doesn't seem to do too much interviews.

That Rockets squad is really interesting with Harden, Lin, Asik and Parsons with young guys like Terrence Jones, Royce White and Motiejunas. That team is just filled with really likeable, smart players.

crazy that they are the youngest team in the league
wouldve thought it was the kings, pistons, wiz

as far as chauncey goes, do the clips even "need" him? it would be a bonus, but they got eric bledsoe who is an emerging player and deserves the minutes. also, throw in grant and jc

Problem is we have Willie Green starting for us in place of Chaunce. I'd gladly prefer Billups taking those starter min back which in the long run shouldn't affect Crawford/Bledsoe reserve min off the bench since they usually play together anyway. Grant Hill is another story. I do believe we'll have a logjam at the 3 whenever he returns especially if Barnes keeps giving us decent production.

Ya right everyone hates Lin and especially Royce White.

Sidenot, the Kings not standing up for DMC has me

dude needs to shut up and stop *****ing. He's turning into a mental illness-free Royce White.

Kyle Lowry makes his return to Houston tonight. He's going to obliterate Jeremy Lin like he used to Mike Conley.

So, why not deal Gasol to the Timberwolves, as part of a three-team trade that would also include the Wizards?

Again: I have no information -- none -- that the Lakers are contemplating trading Gasol, or are entertaining or seeking offers for Gasol. This is pure speculation, not information or even rumor. This is me thinking out loud.

In this (imaginary) deal, Washington would send second-year forward Chris Singleton and former Laker Trevor Ariza to the Lakers, who would also get guards Luke Ridnour and J.J. Barea from Minnesota. The Wizards and Wolves would, essentially, swap 2011 Lottery picks about which both are quite uncertain, with Washington's Jan Vesely going to Minnesota and Minnesota's Derrick Williams going to Washington, along with center Nikola Pekovic. Guard Chris Duhon would go from the Lakers to Wizards to make the trade work cap-wise.

I can only hope....

I'm not even focused on the injury tho man, I don't care if he's 110%, he still sucks. He hasn't been good for years. That's what I'm trying to convey to you.

He wasn't good 3 years ago, he's not going to suddenly come back better, after being injured on top of it. He's a name, a vet, etc, but he's not good at basketball anymore. Hasn't been for some time.

You guys are better off without him, not with him.

Okay I get it but I'd rather have him start @ the 2 over Willie Green. That n**** just aint cutting it for me.

I don't understand why Henson started, played well, and then hardly played again.

Per 36 averages: 20, 11 and 2.5 per. Second-highest efficiency rating among rookies (behind Davis). Second-highest rebound rate (behind Drummond).

Love the kid. Knew he should have went top five.

So we trade Pau and Duhon, so just Pau for

Ariza, Singleton, Barea and Ridinour?

Hope? Bruh, you need Jesus, Mary and Joseph to carry a rabbit's foot in their pockets while hunting for four leaf clovers at the end of a rainbow.

I rather have Amare than that rag tag group. And if that don't say somethin to ya, nothin will. :lol
