Thats a pretty good comparison actually.... both need to work on their post games, can think they can shoot, fake tough guys, both have had knee problems....most ppl consider Blake Griffin the next Amare

Amare has offensive game, Blake doesnt.
aside from the powering dunks (which amare used to do back in the day) and ZERO defense i see no other comparison.

Save for the occasional blown defensive rotation, Griffin has gotten better on defense.

No way man, I been on that for half a decade. I used to see Amare be silent all damn night, then when they was down big late, Nash and the Suns would come out the timeout and try to space everything, defense covering the 3 point line only, and Amare would just explode for some thunderous dunk, come on down the court with his shoulders all back, got the swag in his walk, do that 2 more times down the floor, suddenly he has 20 points and 7 rebounds.
He was the master at meaningless buckets.

And that trade still sucks for the Wizards. Another mediocore deal with marginal/average players involved! Derrick Williams and Chris Duhon!!!!!! YES!!!!!!

Just last year it was said his problem with defense/shot blocking was his short arms...
That Dwill block and Eric Bledsoe prove otherwise.
Blake has an unlimited free pass with most people.

it boggles my mind that a man that big and athletic doesnt have the FEET and BALANCE it takes to be very good in the post.

Blake just looks like he simply hasn't worked on his game. Now, i understand this offseason he was hurt and he's been injured quite a bit since getting drafted, but dude..been in the league 4 years and still no legit low post skill?

Man lets just kill the amare and bully griffin talk, he aint grabbing boards like Griffin and from what i remember Griffin was trying to battle Love for most dbl dbls last season...i honestly like Griffin Upside tho!
