Patterson won't even be Milsap IMO. He's Drew Gooden to me. Most of the time he sucks and I wonder why he is shooting so many jumpers. He just got so many good looks tonight because Perkins likes to randomly defend PGs for no reason without telling anybody and his man is always open
Speaking of which, crowd was finally as loud as last season at this game. The Hasheem ejection then unejection by Marc Davis was epic in the arena. I'll post it 2morrow, even the Thunder players and coaches got caught up in the hype giving Sheem a standing O and waiting for him to come out the tunnel. Scott Brooks ol' dumb hatin' *** though, didn't even put him back into the game until mop up time
I haven't seen a box score yet, but feel like James was getting hacked on most of those drives and for whatever reason, was getting NO calls. If anyone ever doubted homecourt advantage and ref intimidation by the crowd, this game had plenty. I've never seen a ref reverse an ejection, especially a hot headed one like Marc Davis
Everyone was watching James's interaction with his former teammates, coaches, and players and it was beyond cordial, it' still love there. Before the game they showed a graphic like, "Welcome back Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook, and James Harden," and everyone stood and cheered mightily as well as when James and Daequan were introduced as starters. The boos for James didn't start until after he had a little scrum with Durant, then everyone was booing every time he did something and cheering like mad every time he turned the ball over, fouled, or missed a shot, all of which happened very often. Anyways, I don't think there's any bad blood between anyone. Post game, they all came over across center court and spoke to everyone including the coaches too, especially Cole and Nick/Thabo.
